The hotel was fine and in a unique location at the top of the Spanish Steps. We were in the separate annex building which was good. It was just greatly over priced for the hotel.

Scalinata di Spagna Hotel was the perfect location to explore Rome. We stayed in Room 51, which had a king bed and stunning views of the Vatican. The room was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The comfortable bed gave us some of the best, most restful sleep of our trip. Despite being in such a popular area, the hotel was wonderfully quiet at night. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and made our stay in Rome truly memorable. We especially loved hearing about the history of the building from one of the family members who owns the hotel—it added such a personal touch to our visit. This hotel exceeded our expectations, and we hope to return again someday.

Great location and clean room. Short staffed (as in 1 person) and actual rooms were separated from front office, in a whole different building, requiring at least 3 access points, a physical key, card, access code, etc. All a bit too much for a quick one night stay.

The property was incredibly easy to find. They are very nice & the customer service was amazing and polite. The key system works well, the room was incredibly cool and secure. You felt safe at all times in the area. The room itself was incredibly nice, fun to look at and be in such a place. The breakfast was really good as well with a lot of great options. Overall amazing stay with no complaints.

This hotel is centrally located by the Spanish Steps, shopping and restaurants. It's walking distance to most attractions in Rome or to transportation. The room was nicely designed with a terrace and balcony. The room was clean and straightened up daily. The only issues I had was that the cleaning staff didn't pay close detail to the fact that we were running low on bathroom toiletries and I had to ask for it twice. Additionally, I asked for transportation to be scheduled for my day of departure and felt dismissed. I asked for the VIP amenity to be delivered to my room at a specific time and felt dismissed. Even at check in, I felt rushed so that the staff could check someone else out although I had waited my time to check in. Overall, the location was great. The room was nice. Some of the staff need work on customer service delivery.

Breakfast was great . Hotel in excellent area . Walkable distance to most major attractions in Rome, including the Spanish Steps (hotel is right next to the top), Colosseum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain. Also walkable to train station and many stores and restaurants. Nice staff as well.

We stayed in two different rooms. First one was a double w/balcony in the Annex. It was OK. Thin towels and not much in the way of room extras. The second was the Panoramic suite in the hotel itself. This had an amazing view of the city, was well appointed and I definitely would book again. Elevator is slow but that’s the only negative.

We liked the property and its location. The Staff is friendly and professional. The property is well kept and the breakfast is excellent. We did have an incident the last day of our stay. The shower stall is very slick and has no grip strip or grab rails. My wife fell and has severe bruising on her left leg and right foot. Other than her slip we had a great time. Tom Smith.

Had a party of three traveling together. One couple and a friend. The only downfall (at no fault of the hotels) I thought a deluxe triple room was a king bed and in a separate bedroom there was another bed. That was not the case just two beds (a king and twin) in one room. We managed to make it work with zero issues. Just chalked it up as a learning lesson since it was our first time traveling to Italy. The location is great. Shopping and restaurants walking distance. The staff was very nice The room and hotel very clean. Would definitely stay again.
