Easy check-in and the room was clean and ready when we arrived. Slept very comfortably and had no noise disturbances. Very happy with this location for visiting the Vatican. Breakfast was decent with a variety of bread options, cereal, yogurt, and fruit.

Our one and only complaint about this hotel is that you have to turn your key in everytime you leave your room and your key is what keeps the air running, so there is no cooling the room off while you’re out. Which is a popular thing in Europe, so can’t complain too much about that. And opening the windows at night gave us reprieve from the heat. It was a great location, very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Downside is that the hotel is very old. Renovations are old. The wall is about to peel off. The bed is way too soft and unsupported. It feels like some 20 year old mattress that was never been replaced. The bathroom is way too small. Anyone with Medium size barely turn inside the shower room. For anyone who is Large size I don’t think you can even close the shower room door. And I have confirmed with the staff that it’s the same shower room size for all rooms. Good thing about this hotel is within a very local neighborhood. Nice vibe. Staff are all very friendly and helpful and willing to tell you the travel info that you want to know. There is direct bus going to the city centre for major attractions and walkable distance to Vatican.

Fine for what it is. Breakfast wasn’t great. There is a lovely option just down the road for breakfast though. Very basic but it’s not suggesting it’s more. Easy walk to the Vatican and metro stop is about 600m walk with a supermarket about 100m. Area felt very safe.

Very pleased with the property. Staff could not have been better. It was a bit old but clean and very well run. One person elevator and a shower no big person would fit into but otherwise would not have changed a thing. We felt safe and well taken care of. Thank you
