Charming family run hotel full of character! In a quiet neighborhood away from the touristy areas. Staff was a bit distant upon arrival, but warmed up to us later. Older property, to be sure, but well kept. Bathrooms could use some updating and better amenities, but adequate.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Rome. The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made our visit very comfortable. Its location is excellent—just a short walk from many of the city’s main attractions, making it easy to explore Rome on foot. The staff was outstanding: always friendly, attentive, and quick to respond to any requests. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced our experience. Another highlight was the hotel’s proximity to a wide variety of excellent restaurants, which gave us the chance to enjoy authentic Roman cuisine right around the corner. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

This is a family run hotel. The communication from the time of booking onward was fantastic. The room was very clean, quiet and very safe. The location was perfect! It is a 10-20 min walk to all of the major sites. Both restaurants and stores were just steps away. I would highly recommend staying at the Golden Hotel.

Golden experience in Rome

Hotel Golden was a wonderful family run boutique hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and informative when answering our questions. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and attended to daily. We all received hugs from one of the owners when we left. Overall, our experience was a 10 out of 10!

Air conditioning not working properly,dangerous layout for falling ,space between bathroom and toilet non existent ,coffee out in the hallway with literally a kettle and coffee no sugar no creamer,access to the property makes you feel like a child you have to call them to open the main door after 11 I think it is it’s a family run business but they are rude and not very friendly would not stay here for free
