The GOOD:Wonderful location – easy walking distance to the Vatican, to grocery stores, and to a multitude of restaurants, including one directly across the street!Elevator – much appreciated for our luggage and for my wife after our walk to the Colosseum!Bathroom equipped with nice towel warmer and slow-close toiletThe NOT-SO-GOOD:Three locks to get into apartment. Very finicky – finally got the hang of them by the end of day 2!Apartment actually got a little too warm for my wife (who is always cold)! There were no instructions for the heater. We tried pressing what we thought was the right button on the remote control, but it caused the whole screen to go blank and we couldn’t get it back.A nice espresso machine was provided (no instructions for that either). For Americans (we assume) there was only instant coffee! Assuming you get a lot of American renters, it would be lovely to have a coffee machine.No instructions for the TV. We never did get a picture!SUGGESTIONS for improvement:Kleenex (facial tissue) would have been nice to have.A shower shelf would be nice for soap and shampoo/conditioner. The very small shower (about 3’x3’) was very difficult to lean over in.Paper towels in the kitchen would be nice.Two of us stayed four nights. The toilet paper (two small rolls, single-ply) ran out on the last morning. If anyone uses more than necessary, they would run out.The bathroom sink drains very s-l-o-w-l-y! Sink stopper seems to need some work.

We have just completed our Rome stay. You can’t beat the location of this room. Right near the Vatican, a square with many restaurants and shops, and within 30 minutes of all monuments. Owners were very attentive.The only thing was that the WiFi didn’t work the whole time we were there, but that didn’t hinder our stay. Highly recommend to anyway wanting an authentic Roman stay.

The location was amazing and just down the road to Vatican City. The main reason for the lower rating was it was so hot in the bedroom as fan did nothing and aircon only impacted the lounge area. Aircon also dripped leaving a puddle in living room. Great as a base if you don’t mind a rustic feel.

Property was clean, walkable to everything around. Bathroom was clean too which is super important to me. It was very hot and the a/c unit that was in the front room didn't cool the bedroom part, so couldn't sleep for most part. They did not communicate their WiFi had problems and it was very difficult to find anything without Wi-Fi connection. These days Wi-Fi is super important, to find places, directions, tours everything almost! This problem should've been told upfront as I would've found another place or got a SIM card.

Amazing location!

Emmas apartment was in a great location, I stayed with my teenage daughter. Was a safe and easy area to walk around. Close to everything we needed. Apartment was clean. Water in shower was a bit slow to drain and the front door can be tricky. The highlight of the apartment was the little private terrace

Perfect in every way!

We stayed in Rome for 6 days. For us, it was the perfect location. Very close to the Vatican and St. Peter’s. We love to walk, so we never used public transportation after we arrived at Roma Termini. Days that we walked to the Colosseum, Pantheon or Trevi, we walked anywhere between 5-10 miles. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but we saw a lot of city buses frequently, so I imagine that is also a great option. The apartment is all you could ask for and was very quiet. The neighborhood has many great restaurants just around the corner. We spent a total of 4 weeks in Italy and our favorite gelato shop is just right around the corner… L’Arena Del Gelato.

Perfect for a solo/duo stay!!

Very clean, quaint, and cute!! Booked for a week stay visiting a cousin and was perfect! She stayed with me a few days and it fit us comfortably. It was in a great location near restaurants and shops while being only a short walk from the vatican. Easy walk to bus/taxi areas for longer travel distances Check in was easy with Valerio and he was so polite as he welcomed me into the apartment. Highly recommend for those who are traveling solo who want a cozy, clean spot!

Perfect location for a visit to St. Peter's

Perfect location for a visit to St Peter's Basilica and exploring the wonderful food of Rome. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect place to stay if you want to be in the center of things. Things are smaller than modern apartments but that is to be expected. And you will have to pick up some paper products down the block. Positives far outweigh the minor negatives.

Residence is older but in the heart of everything you will want to do! Can’t wait to come back!! Highly recommended. Restaurants nearby are excellent. Super spot to stay, we loved the balcony for coffee. We had a great time.

The apartment is really nice, it could use a TV in the bedroom, but that is my personal preference. They are great communicating with their guest. They arranged transportation to and from the airport, with a great driver and reasonable price. The one issue I had, was on the 2nd day there was dog poop right in front the outside entrance door and no one cleaned it even after notifying management. They stated it there was nothing they can do, which really surprised me. Walking and jumping around it put a damper on out would have been an outstanding and excellent stay.
