Hotel is nice for the price. Room and bathroom are small but clean and comfy. Staff were super attentive and helpful. We checked out at 4:30am and they prepared a breakfast box for us. Public busses super close and felt very safe all around.

The hotel was a bit tired looking but it was clean & perfectly adequate for our 3 nights stay. Breakfast was typical continental & filled us up for the day. The staff were friendly & very helpful. The shuttle bus service was a bonus. We always used it to get into the centre of Rome and made our way back on the bus. Overall we had an enjoyable stay & a great time exploring Rome.

The hotel is situated amongst a residential neighborhood, good bargain..for the money. the staff is extremely friendly, resonable size basic room (not many facilities available). Breakfast is extremely gooood

Location of the property is not easy access, traffic gets horrible. Took 45 minutes to get to the airport and 35 minutes to get to the city. We got placed in the -1 floor (basement) smells horrible to Moisture and mold. Could not sleep due to the moldy smell.

The hotel was set in a wonderful location next to a nature area away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel staff were very polite and accommodating during our stay. I like the fact the desk was manned 24/7 as anything was not too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable and the view overlooking the gardens were superb. Only a couple of minor points - coffee and tea should be provided in the rooms for early risers and no one told us about the horrific mosquitoes that abounded in the area as my wife’s legs in particular were covered in bites. Please make sure you take mosquito spray!!

The hotel was a lovely, friendly place to stay. Rooms were clean and very comfortable with air conditioning. The rooms had a safe. The battery went in the safe in my room so was unable to reopen it but the receptionist arranged for the manager to come back, as it was early evening, within an hour to sort it out. The breakfast was ample with lots of choice and staff were on hand with freshly made coffee of choice and replenished the items well. The shuttle bus was really useful for getting to and from 5 different points in the centre of Rome. On our third day the shuttle bus had broken down so the receptionist gave us bus information which was close by and very easy with the tickets bought at the hotel. €1.50 for 100 minutes on the buses which was really good value. Close by there are various places to eat with a mini market opposite. The mini market owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. All in all we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend the Ecohotel.

This is a bare minimum hotel. True to it's name, it is eco-friendly by being dead economical. Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. This smell was strongest in the shower. The fridge didn't work. No tea making facilities. Linen was on the grubby side. Floors were dirty (we didn't feel comfortable taking our shoes off). Room is ridiculously tiny. No space to open suitcases. The staff are really nice. There are some additional perks like a shuttle service into Rome and a cafe, which is pretty cool. Safe parking inside the property which is a huge plus. Good enough and true 3-star rating.

Pros - Helpful staff, they don't mind helping with anything and are very friendly especially the reception staff that was there our first night. The breakfast has a nice variety to satisty international & italian guests including a coffee machine that dispenses cappuccino, latte, nescafe etc I loved their free drop off & pick up shuttle to 5 different locations, as long as booking is done in advance, this saved us at least 150eur in the 4days we were there. They also helped us to book a return private taxi to the airport, which was cheaper than other taxis by 10-15eur. I was able to get a socket charger adaptor (they have a 2 pin socket) when i stupidly took the wrong one with me, this helped me a ton. Con - This is not really a con about the hotel but there is a lack of different types of restaurant in the area. You cannot get any condiments after breakfast, no tea/coffee making tools in the room and although they have tv, it is all in italian. No iron facilities inside the room either. Recommendations - It would be nice if the hotel had a spa area for all customers including balcony, my room didn't have a balcony (which would have been nice) but my siblings had a balcony. We walked at least 5-6hrs everyday and it would have been nice to soak our feets in a spa after getting back. Option to make tea/coffee in the room would be nice.

The hotel is close to the Vatican. We used the hotel shuttle to go back and forth to the city center which was very convenient. You just need to book your shuttle a day in advance. The breakfast was very good and made for a good start to each day. Finally, the staff was great, especially Corina at the front desk.She was a godsend who saved me on more than one occasion. Would definitely recommend the EcoHotel.
