Not the best neighbour hood for a stay. Disappoin!

Charming Coloseum room was sub standard. It was not clean (floor especially), bathroom way too small ( not wide enough, even for Rome standards). Noisy at all hours of the night. Traffic sounds, yelling in streets, garbage dumping by residents in containers at 2 AM and 3 AM. City garbage collecting at 4 AM, etc. Filth and dog poop in front of main entrance. People squatting in front of door entrance.

This place was an easy 5 minute walk to the Colosseum with lots of places to eat, Farmacia stores at the corner. The unit was beautiful, rustic, grand and spacious in the main room. Bathroom and shower was a bit narrow and tight, but having a small laundry washing machine can be convenient. Not sure if this occurs every early morning, or just the morning we happened to stay, but garbage trucks picking up the glass bottle dump was very noisy even with the window shutters and curtains closed. Despite this, the bed was very comfy :) I suggest bringing in earplugs. Other than that, we loved the room. We booked this room last minute and the check-in and check-out process with the main host was extremely easy.

Bra läge i staden och närhet till restauranger och kollektivtrafik. Köket kan knappast användas för matlagning och det hade varit ett stort plus med t ex mikrovågsugnen. Enkel kommunikation med värden.
