Don’t stay here, beware! This apartment has an absolutely horrible smell, of cigarettes I think or some kind of burn. It’s so bad you can smell it through the front door as you approach. We couldn’t even stand to be in the living room. We washed our clothes there and let them air dry because it was day 7 of our trip through Italy, which was a huge mistake. Our clothes still stink after washing them twice at our next stop. Clothes we didn’t even wash there stink just from being in the same suitcase. We didn’t have cancellation insurance unfortunately, so we contacted the representative (from the Vicky company) upon arrival to try to get a refund, and they pretended they had never heard of the issue, which is impossible frankly. After playing dumb like that, they just stopped responding to us. We seriously contemplated spending an extra thousand euros to rent elsewhere for the 4 nights, but decided to tough it out. The bedroom was barely acceptable if you shut the door and opened the window. The remote entry was also a big problem. As mentioned in another review, this apartment is in a cellular dead zone, so a few times we had a really hard time unlocking the door. One of us would have to be on the street to unlock with cell phone while the other was at the door. So stupid. By far the worst experience staying anywhere in our lives.

Great location but...

For starters, if you do not have a phone that works with at least 4g, you will not be able to get in the building. Once inside, there's NO signal. The inside is a DEAD ZONE, so you will not be able to open the door to the Apt. using the link. However, you can access the code, when u are outside the building, screen shot it, then use it. Our stay was ok. Neighbors upstairs walk like a herd elephants, so be prepared... and i do wear ear plugs to bed. Also, they can come in at odd hours, and you will hear them coming in, going up to their unit all this while carrying a conversation. There were no instructions provided for washer/dryer, so i had to figure it out myself. There was a cleaning fee and daily tax to be collected upon checking, no one came to collect it even though i emailed who was emailing me. I didn't even get a response. Location wise, is fantastic! close to the Panthenon and lots of places to eat. The closest taxi stand is seven minutes away since most times, you cannot flag a taxi and if you do, they will totally ignore you. My recommendation to the owner is to please, at least on day one, meet the people in person and welcome them and let them in the building. A keyless system, is the last thing you want to deal with after being jetlag. And has a last item on the access to the building, i saw this key (not labeled) and after i tried it out in many places inside the unit, it turn out that it was the key to the front of the building. Nothing was mention of it

Excellent centrally located apartment

Excellent simply furnished apartment in perfect location to walk to all the central visitor attractions. Easy to get to from Roma Termini station. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen equipped for simple meals, a kettle, hob, fridge and microwave. The kingsize bed with memory foam mattress is amazingly comfortable, the sofa bed is good too, lovely crisp clean towels and useful clothes washer drier with drier rack and iron. Loredana who met us was delightful, helpful and kind. She gave us her contact for help throughout our stay. Highly recommend this apartment for 2-3 people.
