The room was clean and appointments were nice. However, the "patio" were just a pair of worn out and frankly no clean looking (but they were, it was just very old plastic), no table and the TV was small. It is located right in the heart of Rocky Harbour. Staff were attentive and the restaurant choices (2) were either pub friendly or in the restaurant, very good choices, well presented and delicious.

We loved the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. When we checked it .. our room ‘s air conditioning wasn’t working. They upgraded us to another room and we had a gorgeous sunset view of the ocean. We would definitely recommend staying at this special hotel in Rocky Harbour.

This is a very nice place in a lovely area. Food and entertainment available, and great prep area for water, hot drinks, grab and go, and ATM. The only criticism is that the walls are thin and had to use earplugs because of very late overhead walking, showering, using water, bashing around. Staff very friendly and helpful, so we still recommend it.

The property is very dated and the staff are unfriendly. It seemed like we were bothering them when we asked for additional towels. Could care less how our stay was. The walls are paper thin and you can hear every footstep above you. Other than location, I’d find no other reason to stay here.

We arrived and had a tight timeline for a booked tour and were very happy to be able to get into our room early. Room was well above expectations, clean and spacious. Only issue was with the restaurant as they may have been short staffed and where apprehensive when other guests complained of a long wait for food so we ended up not dining there after being seated and not wanting to have a long wait unfortunately.

We stayed in an ocean view room with a balcony and really enjoyed that space. The location of the hotel was convenient for visiting Gros Morne park. There is a restaurant and a pub in the hotel, both overlooking the harbour. The kitchen party we attended in the pub was great fun, and an excellent value for the $ 15 charged. Rooms could have been cleaner but are of good size and include a fridge and a table. There are dining options within walking distance of the hotel.

A nice hotel right across the road from the water. Outside the hotel is large, brightly coloured and lovely. The rooms on the lower floor have a small patio. The rooms on the upper floor have baconies. This is a very busy hotel. All rooms on the front of the building have water views. The rooms on the back have a view of the privacy fence. Next time I'll ask for a room on the water facing side. The staff were great but hallway noise was loud. I would stay again.

Two night stay

Mix up at check in, I reserved in annex. Another guest with same first name was mistakenly checked into my room. This took about 20 minutes to straighten out. I feel breakfast or something should have been comped. Was there a price difference in bookings? There was no apology for the error. Upstairs breakfast crew provided great service. Downstairs pub crew seems overworked and stressed.
