We were impressed with how clean the hotel was. As for the pool it could use up dated. The fire pit was very nice but, it rained one night and the seat cushions were socking wet. Maybe put them in pool area at night. The continental breakfast was simple but good. Also staff was very accommodating.

The pictures on Expedia are very misleading — this place doesn’t look nearly as nice in person. The front desk area is cute with a nautical theme, and the staff is genuinely friendly, which I appreciated. I can’t comment on the breakfast since we didn’t try it. Unfortunately, the rooms were disappointing. The air was extremely dry, and because the hotel is located near a main road, there was a lot of traffic noise throughout the night. Even with blackout curtains, plenty of light still came in during the morning. The room was reasonably clean, but the furniture is dated and the bed sheets were worn out and fuzzy. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth the price. While the location is convenient, there are definitely better options nearby.

The staff seemed grouchy. When we asked them for information about the surrounding area they said we could read the brochures. In the breakfast area when we notified them that the continental breakfast coffee dispensers were empty, she walked out of the room without a comment. She did return with a carafe minutes later but it just seemed like we bothered her in some way.

Rockport Inn and Suites was a perfect selection for our four night visit to the area. The location was very convenient and the hotel lived up to expectations. Staff was kind and helpful. We enjoyed the indoor pool which was nicely maintained and the outdoor seating area with fire pit.

Stayed for a the weekend as part of our plan to go to visit Salem for Halloween. Room was clean, beds were comfy as well, water being nice and hot even though i read previous reviews about the running water not being so well. Staff was very nice and helpful. I was a little scared about seeing the woods right outside our door at night with all open grass. Overall I enjoyed my stay it was quiet and cozy.

The room was really nice and the staff was awesome. The breakfast was a disappointment. Nothing hot. Truly a continental breakfast. Which is not my fav. Also wish they had a hot tub. The pool is nice.
