Capitorio is a romantic holiday home in a restored 300-year-old stone barn, one of three one-bedroom holiday cottages at Podere Sant'Angelo, a small, family-run property set 700 metres high in the hills near Roccalbegna in the Maremma, southern Tuscany. Capitorio is 50 m² in total, with a double bedroom, a fold-out armchair and a sofa bed in the living area, perfect for couples or a small family. The interior combines high ceilings, chestnut beams, terracotta floors and an open fireplace with a genuine cucina in muratura, a traditional brick-built kitchen with a stone sink.
From the estate you can walk directly into the surrounding hills or hire an e-bike in Roccalbegna. The private garden with sun loungers faces west across the Albegna Valley, ideal for sunsets.
