We just returned from five nights at this amazing resort and have nothing but good things to say! The property itself was gorgeous. The winding paths through the tropical foliage, the beach at the end of the strip with outstanding snorkeling, the large pools and layered decks with lots of places to lounge, the beach bar .... We absolutely loved it! The staff was great and the food was delicious. Our room (a Bungalow) was large and comfortable (yet up a very steep hill, so make sure you check if you have any issues with mobility). The beach was walkable and had many other hotels and restaurants to visit, although the vendors were a bit much. The highlight of the trip was scuba diving with West End Divers! We experienced a number of amazing creatures! We lucked out with the weather (sunny and mid-80s every day and it only rained at night). And we were there in mid-September which is the beginning of Low Season which meant that we practically had the resort or ourselves. We also happened to be there over a time where no cruise ships came through. One staff member told us that it's crazy during High Season when the cruises come in...so choose your timing wisely based on the vibe you like! Overall it was a fantastic experience!

Well kept!! The ocean view was really nice.. We could walk to some shops and Resturants which was nice..The Maid service wasn't great. High prices on everything in the resort.. who wants to pay $8.00 for a little package of M&Ms? To me that was ridiculous.. The resort was really nice till all the families brought their kids and left them unattended in the pool area. Overall the resort was really nice..

We loved our stay at this resort. It was our first time staying here and would definitely return. The property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The beach was clean and the resort offered many activities. Loved that we got to snorkel right on the property. Everyone is extremely nice and always willing to help. The food was also a plus. Can’t wait to return.

Every single person we encountered was attentive, friendly, and eager to make our stay memorable. They truly made us feel like family rather than guests. Whether relaxing on the pristine beach, enjoying the crystal-clear waters for snorkeling, or taking part in the resort’s activities and excursions, there was never a dull moment. The resort also provided excellent recommendations for exploring the beauty of Roatán beyond the property. In every way, Kimpton Bay Resort exceeded our expectations. It’s a place that combines luxury, natural beauty, and heartfelt hospitality seamlessly. We are already looking forward to our return and would highly recommend it. Our stay was great, the pool and beach are excellent and service was too. We chose to stay in a room with a kitchen as we like to cook our own meals while traveling. However I think for the price of the room the kitchen especially needs better cleaning to be at the level hotel the Kimpton stands for. The paper towels are the cheapest as well which is a bit shocking for again the price of the room. It just needs a better deep clean and daily upkeep
