Hotel Tres Bon en Châteauroux

I took a side trip to Châteauroux between matches of the World Cup Soccer tournament so I could spend two days visiting the Brenne Nature Reserve. Of the six hotels I’ve stayed at on this trip, this one has been easily the best. Terrific hosts, good breakfast and dinner service, and a top-rate room at a very reasonable rate. A good walkable location in the city center as well.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was great value. Unfortunately the room was very tired and shabby, as was the en suite.

Basic. Not very clean.

The accommodation was basic. Didn't think it was particularly clean (obviously hadn't been properly hoovered). Didn't eat at the hotel. Although the restaurant did look quite nice. Have paid less for better.

Hotel close to town. Rooms small but clean, comfortable and quiet. Excellent service from friendly & polite staff. Left a pair of shoes in the room and e-mailed hotel two days later asking if they could forward on to our next hotel and they kindly obliged with no cost. Excellent service.

Un hôtel a l'ancienne où l'accueil est chaleureux, le personnel sympathique, la chambre aux couleurs d'antan mais qu'est ce qu'on y dors bien ! C'est tout de même le plus important alors je mets 5 étoiles.
