For decades, my family has retreated to this enchanting and characterful home, built for my grandparents in the 1960s. Nestled in unspoiled Catalan nature yet close to vibrant cities and the coast, it’s the perfect getaway.
This secluded villa offers something for everyone. Surrounded by hiking and biking trails, it’s also ideal for day trips to Barcelona or Girona. The award-winning PGA Catalunya Golf Course is just 13 km and Costa Brava’s beaches are 25 km away.
From the moment you drive up the cypress-lined entrance, you’ll feel your holiday has begun. The house is a private haven in a protected, bird-rich nature reserve. Relax by the pool with panoramic views, dine al fresco at the large table, or unwind on one of the terraces.
The villa has two en-suite bedrooms and two more that share a hallway bathroom—perfect for two families. The rustic kitchen is fully equipped, and the cozy living room with a fireplace is stocked with books and games. Central heating makes it a warm, inviting spot even in autumn and winter.
