Lovely home in Søndeled with sauna

Welcome to our spacious, well-equipped cottage with grass roof. Here you can enjoy your own wellness area with indoor pool, whirlpool and sauna. Start the day with a breakfast of honey from a nearby farm store that also sells other natural products. And after a long day of activities, we can recommend lighting and enjoying the hanging barbecue on the terrace.



Try fishing in the lakes (fishing license required) and on the fjord from the shore or with a boat that can be rented nearby. Then you can explore the fjord on your own and take a boat trip to the bathing island 'Lille Danmark' or to the restaurants in Stangholmen. There are also several sandy beaches at gang distance in the area and a canoe rental. It is recommended to take the oldest wooden ferry in Norway, which is right in front of your feet, for a trip to the wooden house town Risør with salt water aquarium and several festivals such as the chamber music festival and the wooden boat festival. Jegertunet in the neighborhood offers a restaurant and tennis courts, as well as various events. You can also go horseback riding at Rønningen Gård or Hest i Villmark. For those interested in climbing, Skarvann Aktivitetspark offers several climbing walls. It is only 20 km to Stabbestad in Telemark with golf course, mini golf and ferry to Kragerø, the northernmost Sørland town in Norway. It is half an hour by car to the small animal park in Brokelandsheia. The place is also good for winter vacations with possibility of ice skating or ice fishing. Imagine a horse riding trip in white Norwegian nature. In Søndeled and Fiane there are lighted cross-country skiing trails, and the town of Risør invites you to a white Christmas in the white town.
