Step out on the lakefront back porch and drop a fishing line into the lake or grab a seat for a prefect place to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets! The cabin affords numerous mountain and lake views on the 2,800 acre Preserve in Johnson's Crook on Lookout Mountain, GA.



The Preserve is surrounded by natural scenery, with multiple fishing lakes throughout the property (no fishing license required - just bring your own fishing supplies). In addition to fishing, the area features hiking trails, birdwatching, and canoeing. The Preserve also includes over 30 to 40+ known caves in its limestone bedrock, including Johnson's Crook Cave and Lost Canyon Cave. Cabin is centrally located 15 minutes from Cloudland Canyon State park, 20 minutes from Mentone, AL, 35 minutes from Chattanooga, TN and 2 hours from Birmingham, AL & Atlanta, GA

The scenery and location is exactly what we were looking for. Only a 20 minute drive to the park, 5 minutes from dollar general to get the necessities and 15-20 minutes to restaurants. The cozy, 800 sq ft, two level cabin has just what you need for a romantic getaway or a trip away with the kids. The cabin sleeps up to 4 people with room for one additional on the living room couch. On the main level, there is a stocked kitchen, comfy couch and living space, bar stool seating, TV with Dish Satellite and a full bathroom with a shower. At the top of the hickory lined stairs, you will find a loft with 2 twin beds and a private bedroom with a full bed. Steps away from the cabin and deck, you will find a large fire pit area to enjoy the lake and mountain views.

Propane gas is provided for the Weber grill as is firewood for the fire pit.



Pets: Up to 2 dogs are allowed (unfortunately we cannot accommodate cats) within the standard nightly pet fee. Additional dog may be considered for an additional pet fee, please inquire in advance. Pets should be leashed when outside and crated indoors when guests are away. Please pick up after your pet (waste bags are provided).
