Everything was brilliant! The room was great and had a beautiful view of the Copacabana Beach. The staff were so friendly, it was hard not to chitchat with them. Swimming pool is on the smaller side, but it has a beautiful view of Copacabana and an outdoor bar with lots of seating spaces. Just wanted to shoutout the staff once more - my husband was dying to go to the Flamengo Libertadores match and they did it all to find us tickets! What an experience it was! So thankful to all of you amazing staff people!

The rooms were great, staff were friendly, and it was well located in Copacabana. We didn't get to enjoy the rooftop pool much due to the weather, but went up there and it looks like it would be awesome when the weather allows for it.

The room was small, it felt like i was in a pod. It was an expensive room so i was expecting something nicer. The breakfast wasnt too bad except the morning I was eating scramble eggs and felt and herad a crunch. The chef threw the egg shells in. I wish i had stayed at the hilton instead.

From the time we arrived, until the time we checked out, our experience was incredible! All the staff from housekeeping to the wait staff on the 15th floor were accommodating & hospitable. The true rock stars of our stay were Shirley and William at the front desk. They went above and beyond to make are stay as comfortable & safe as possible. Every day we were always greeted with a smile. EVERYONE that we came in contact with is now considered family! Best customer service EVER!

I recently stayed at the Ritz Copacabana for 5 nights. The location was very convenient. It was easy access to the beach, restaurants and ubers. The hotel itself was very dirty. The towels were dirty The floor was dirty and turned my feet black. The shower water had very low pressure The hot water didn't work well Very pretty & cozy rooftoop & bar The property was nice, it just needs better upkeep.

Glass doors and walls in all bathrooms

Beautiful modern and friendly in a great location BUT all rooms have glass doors and walls on the bathrooms. We moved and upgraded rooms to get one with opaque glass at least (staff were very helpful but I suspect we were lucky because it was low season and there were options). Even in that room there was poor design - no actual bathroom just a loo cubicle and a shower cubicle in the room. Sadly it would stop me from returning.

The staff at the Ritz Copacabana were attentive and excellent. The property itself was quiet, which I loved, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend if you want a cozy spot along Copacabana Beach- close to the excitement without the noise and congestion of the beach.

The unbeatable location, a mere block from Copacabana beach, was a major highlight of my stay. Adding to the positive experience was the pleasant surprise of an upgrade to a room offering a partial view of the beach. The staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly.

The hotel is very close to Copacabana beach, just a block away. This is most convenient to enjoy the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall the breakfast buffet is also very nice. On the minus side, there is too much street noise in the night. Though I'm unsure how this problem can be solved.

Good location for Rio short visit.

This location is very good. Walk a few minutes to the main beach that stretches 2 miles one way. It's safe to walk during the day and at night. There are lots of restaurants around. The wifi is also fast enough for work. Breakfast could be improved. They serve the same thing almost every morning.

I recently stayed at the Ritz Copacabana and, unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. While the hotel is conveniently located in Copacabana, the overall experience was underwhelming. The rooftop pool is extremely small with very little shaded space, making it difficult to enjoy during the day. The staff was not particularly attentive, and this was especially noticeable at the buffet breakfast, where the team never greeted guests or made any effort to be welcoming. Additionally, the hotel failed to mention ongoing daytime construction, which was disruptive. Another major downside is that the hotel charges for everything—even basic amenities like coffee and water, which felt excessive given the price. While the property was clean, the overall experience was lacking in hospitality and value. For the price, I would have chosen another hotel. I would not recommend the Ritz Copacabana and definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Basic hotel, clean, mattresses terrible

Just a basic hotel in Copacabana, not 4 stars as advertised. Barely 3 stars. Very close to boardwalk, relatively clean. Beds, pillows, sheets were terrible, that's why I gave it 2 stars for comfort. Has A/C, fridge., coffee maker. Everything costs though, even water, all your coffee pods.
