The hotel was fine. The issue is the staff.. The front desk guy(bold) was very rude all times , Room without a/c and he spend all day long coordinating to be fixed but it never happen also he refused to change our room. Always rude and non polite behavior with me but all guests . Also the hotel refused to give me another card ,just 1 key for 2 people and the power only function with the card so if you need to go to anyplace ,the card must be with you in order to take the elevator but people who stay in the room will be without power or a/c .When i asked to the same guy for another key he was so rude saying NOOO… Otherwise good location,great breakfast..

Guys if any of solo travellers planning to book the economy studio room I suggest book it for 1 night then decide whether you want to extend or not. I booked for 10 nights and the AC was leaking and the hotel refused to return me my balance nights. The room is extremely small. Thanks to Hotels.com i manage to get a refund. Will never stay here again.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Room is a bit small and the bathroom is very tiny. But everything is very clean. The location is excellent for Copacabana beach, only 2 blocks and easy to walk to. We stayed here for NYE, minimum 3 nights. The price was quite high (that's why the 4 stars, too expensive for what they offer). Breakfast is decent, but I recommend find a "panificadora" (bakery shop) near by. You can find Atlântica Panificação or Santa Marta Panificadora about 10 minutes walking distance.

As mentioned earlier, they held my Uber on the way to the airport. I frequently travel and have never been held in my room while they checked it. Since they have my information and credit card, I even stayed an extra day to leave the place peacefully. However, they treated me like a criminal.

I was stopped from leaving during checkout because they insisted I stay while they checked the room, even though they had my credit card on file. They even held up my Uber. It was unnecessary and humiliating. It made me feel unwelcome. I won't recommend to anyone, especially if is a male of color, to stay in this hotel. I’m considering filing a complaint about the receptionist and bellboy holding me against my will. If there was a problem with my room, which there wasn’t, I even throw my trash every day. So, why would they need me? What would they do if they found something wrong?

Nice Location. Not to far from the beach. Breakfast was very good. They gave us one key for three guests which was totally ridiculous. If we wanted another one we had to pay.

There were severe bed bugs in the bed - I mean severe - I had bites all over. I could not sleep. I had to clean all my clothes and get inflammation cream. It hugely affected my trip. I raised the issue and later emailed them about the issue but received no answer.
