Of course, it's a very nice hotel. But, two gripes - one, the curtains give way too much light from the inner courtyard. And, two, our package included free drink. We (my husband and I) were told we could choose from a glass of beer, a glass of prosecco, or coffee. We went for prosecco. We were offered ONE glass - to share between us, I was told. Nope, we could not have a glass each. I guess it would have been one cup of coffee, too...

Annoying Sunday morning vacuum cleaning

Nice hotel. The pillows however were a bit un confortable and it was difficult to give them a good shape. Extra pillows would also be preferred if they were available. The Sunday morning 8am vacuum cleaning of the atrium floors were not the brightest idea, specially since it's rather echoing in the atrium and the hard floors added to the annoying noise from the cleaning. 8am on a Sunday morning is pretty normal to still be asleep, specially if you're on vacation. When I mentioned this at the check out I wasn't given an excuse. Instead they said that they vacuum cleaned the floors because no one had checked out yet. It might be because people still were asleep, or at least had plans to still be asleep. But how would I know? This aside, it was a nice hotel with a perfect location, above average brekkie and good value for money.

The hotel is beautifully decorated. It’s in the center of the old town, walkable to all the highlights. Receptionist Nikolass was very professional and helpful. Our room was specious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent and delicious. We enjoyed our stay.

The parking fee was a complete scam. They charged 35 euros while the garage charges 24 euros. When asked about the difference, the staff simply stated we need to make money too although the garage is public and far from the property. Also the location while central and easy access is very noisy and the music didn't stop till 6 am only to be resumed by a jackhammer. Lastly the size of the room is much smaller than stated and the towels were in very bad shape. Overall, far from being a 4 star property, this is 3 star at best and the staff make it a 1 star.

Ett väldigt prisvärt & lyxigt hotell mitt inne i bland gågatorna i gamla Riga. Lyxiga & fräscha rum med Sköna sängar. A la carte-frukost. Nära till allt & hjälpsam personal. Innemiljön påminner om ett lyxkryssningsfartyg i medelhavet. Ledigt? Boka!
