Great and cosy little hotel

Great quality, helpful staff, delicious breakfast, clean room and nice atmosphere. Pretty sure that next time we’ll choose the same hotel again. Sound insulation was good enough so music and peoples noise from the street didn’t bother us at all. Just minor minuses in our room, other aircon unit didn’t work, but room cooled just fine with one. Shower door’s lower seal was gone and water from door leaked to bathroom floor and finaly to room door

We were greeted warmly by the reception on arrival and the hotel itself was lovely. We stayed in the suite and for the money is was absolutely excellent with beautiful views out over the square. Be aware breakfast is on the floor above so you can sometimes hear that from the room but it didn't really trouble us. I would be happy to stay here again without question.

Absolutely fabulous hotel! Fantastic location, right in the centre of things - about a hundred yards from the Freedom Monument and within easy walking distance of all the central attractions. We received a very warm welcome from hotel staff and were allocated a beautifully decorated room. Plenty of space and facilities in the room and bathroom - very comfortable bed too. The breakfast room was bright and airy, with a nice buffet selection and a choice of cooked breakfasts from the menu - the staff were very friendly and efficient and spoke good English. The hotel is situated on a very lively square with bars and live music but once in our room, we couldn't hear a thing from outside. We will happily return to this gem of a hotel on our next visit to Riga!

Nice and clean hotel

Nice and clean. A pleasant stay in a quiet and fresh hotel in centrum of Riga. I can recommend this hotel if you want a room in old town in Riga.

Great location, friendly staff, clean room. I would have given 5 stars but one of the two air conditioners in our room was broken and they said that it couldn't be fixed. Since our room had two windows over looking the town square it was very loud if we left them open for cool air.

In this hotel I have been many times. Allways so lovely to come back. Personal very polite, rooms so beautiful and clean. The hole hotel is beautiful, breakfast very tasty. It is easy to come here from the airport and everything is near.

The hotel is charming with attractive decorations. Our room was beautiful and comfortable but small with two very big armchairs! The breakfast buffet was acceptable but the hot food menu was expensive. The little bar downstairs was very pretty and attractive. The hotel is excellently situated in the old town.

A very good centrally located hotel

The location was excellent right on the square. The hotel and room were tastefully decorated, staff was good, plenty of sockets in room, with a superb breakfast, with a good choice of healthy food and a few sweet treats. The little croissants and conserves were wonderful! The water in the morning was not hot at all which I reported, the tap flow was a little slow, and the curtains did not stop morning light well, nothing major. Otherwise it was a very good 5 night stay.

Great location but horrible situated toilet

We enjoyed our stay very nice location. Hotel is well maintained very French. We asked for a wake up call for 6am on day of departure but never got one. No window. The toilet in our bathroom was about 8 inches from the wall very poor design. We had to sit sideways as thee was no room for legs. Think they should have a work with theur plumber. The worst we have encountered not amused!!

Of course, it's a very nice hotel. But, two gripes - one, the curtains give way too much light from the inner courtyard. And, two, our package included free drink. We (my husband and I) were told we could choose from a glass of beer, a glass of prosecco, or coffee. We went for prosecco. We were offered ONE glass - to share between us, I was told. Nope, we could not have a glass each. I guess it would have been one cup of coffee, too...
