Wonderful traditional country Spanish farm house. Surrounded by pine forest mountains with stunning views, beautiful sun sets and abundant wild life. Located in an extremely peaceful mountain top location but only a 10 minute walk to local traditional Spanish bars & restaurants.

5 bedrooms and double sofa bed to sleep 12 people, 3 bathrooms, large lounge, modern newly fitted kitchen with all appliances. Huge 100 square meter sun terrace with BBQ and traditional pizza oven and stairs down to the west facing 10 x 5 meter swimming pool with 2 hydro massage blowers integrated within the pool. The pool area also features a large pergola providing plenty of shade and a bar area that can easily sit 8 people. On the terrace is an original wood fired oven - perfect for culinary lovers who like making pizzas, bread or any meat of seafood dish cooked in the traditional way. Five large double bedrooms, all with double beds and one with extra double bunk beds. There is also a new double sofa bed for extra guests if required. All the necessary appliances - washing machine, cooker, 4 cooker hob, kettle, coffee machine etc. One bedroom and bathroom located on ground floor with stairs to the 1st floor and remaining bedrooms and bathrooms. Located in 2 acres of private land accessed by 1km gravel road. For anyone who loves the countryside this house is perfect with amazing forest walks, fantastic biking opportunities and many other outdoor sports such as climbing, running, canoeing, rafting, world class golf courses, fishing, horse riding and more. On top of this there are two Roman spas in nearby Archena and of course many wonderful restaurants in nearby Ricote & Blanca and of course wine tasting. Great country house.Had a very nice time at this house in Ricote Spain. What really stood out was the peaceful environment and attention to detail. Whether relaxing on the terrace, by the pool or exploring the nearby area, every moment felt special. Wonderful villa in perfect peaceful setting. Lovely time at Tim's villa. Total change of pace in the Ricote mountains where all you can hear is the wind and wildlife. Completely private villa where we could relax, bbq, go for walks and lie by the pool and watch the amazing sun set over a glass of wine. Bear in mind that the house is not 5* luxury but it has everything you need, after all it's a farm house in the countryside. Very comfortable, kitchen more than adequate and the 3 bathrooms on both floors are convenient. Family loved it so we'll be coming back next year!

Amazing views! Fabulous villa in peaceful surroundings. We had a great time at Tim's villa in Ricote. The location is perfect if you want total tranquility in the mountains and to get away from the rat race! Weather is perfect and the villa has everything you need for a perfect chilled holiday.

Beautiful stay!!!

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The journey to Rocote itself was lovely, with some great terrain and scenery. The property was so peaceful with a beautiful pool and bar area. Tim was an excellent host and very accommodating. We went to a supermarket in Blanca (20 minutes), which had a massive fresh meat counter and nearly everything we needed. There was only a couple of things I couldn’t get for our little girl,so went to the big (SUPER BIG!) Carrefour at Murcia (50 minutes).

Stunning sunsets

Remote, peacefully tranquil with an excellently maintained pool. The views from the huge patio are exceptional. Take mountain walks straight from the front door or just relax for a while and listen to the countrysidw that surrounds you. Bar la Carmen, an authentic Spanish bar (1/2 mile to the road) is excellent but do try a little Spanish, they appreciate it. The host, Tim is easy to contact and Carlos is local should you need anything more. We've been 5 times!

Summer Getaway

We had a fabulous time at the Villa . It is remote so don’t expect lots of entertainment on the door step so if your looking for pubs and clubs it’s not for you, we especially loved the pool which had awesome views of the mountains The rooms and Villa were ample for our group 2 adult couples and two teenagers . The mattress was firm but comfortable. No air con other than fans but the villa was cool enough at night for it not to matter and we had day temps of 35-40 Tim was easy to communicate with and we had no problems getting in or leaving . . We did a few day trip and stocked up on supermarkets with food and Vino. we will def come again . Wi-fi is limited so don’t expect to work away from home . That suited us though .as we all connected with time together Great summer getaway perfect weather comfortable villa with all you need.

Absolutely great, highly recommend.

Beautiful villa with lovely sunsets every night. The lovely swimming pool was still warm in October and the pool area is very spacious and private. The house is well equipped and was comfortable for our large group. Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway in the country in a beautiful location.

Perfect week of relaxation

My wife and I have had an excellent week. The property is in a perfect location with amazing views and is very comfortable. This is the third time staying here and I can not rate it highly enough. The owner was very helpful and generous- all the way through the booking process and during the stay, nothing was too much trouble.

A beautiful, peaceful location.

We stayed at the villa in August 2023 for 2 weeks. There were two families staying- we had a fantastic time. The pool is amazing and the sunset is breathtaking. The villa is a good size and was big enough to accommodate 9 of us. The owner is always on hand when needed and responded to messages very quickly. We went during a very hot summer and it was uncomfortable at times in the villa, even though Tim brought another fan for us during our stay- more fans were needed. We did find the villa hard to find and the dirt track to the villa is very narrow and bumpy. We would have liked more instructions on how to work the pizza oven and possibly wood provided for this would have been appreciated. We visited Bar Carmen which is a 10 min walk and it was lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing! We enjoyed the mountain walks which are at the start of the villa. The local town of Blanca was beautiful and we enjoyed many days/evenings there, swimming in the river. Blanca has everything that you need. Overall we had a fantastic time and would recommend the villa to people who are wanting a peaceful holiday in a very remote area with a fantastic pool.

Great place to stay for 2 families with kids

We had an amazing time at this beautiful villa. The views and sun sets are simply breath taking and we must have taken over a hundred photos! Direct from the house there are some lovely country mountain walks and great cycling around the windy roads. We did trip to bar del Carmen for a local Spanish experience which is a 10 minute stroll down the track. They don't speak much English but we're very friendly. About 35 minutes away is a fun water park and a decent golf course. The house had everything a family needs for a peaceful and relaxing stay away from it all. The pizza oven is great fun and there are two bbqs which we used most days. The owner told us he had recently refurbished the property and installed a brand new kitchen which certainly looked new. The bedrooms are simple and clean and the temperature inside the house is cool, even when we had 33 degrees outside. We spent most of the time in the swimming pool and bar area which everyone enjoyed. Have already re booked as we didn't want to leave. Thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic Location

What a fabulous location and villa! We had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The villa is spacious with a large living area and comfortable bedrooms but the outside space is great. The views, particularly during sunset, from the terrace are spectacular. The villa is at the start of a great hiking route with even more views to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this villa.

Great holiday

Stayed for the whole of October with various friends and family at different times. Weather was great but pool a bit chilly for us women although we did venture in a few times. Men and kids were in all the time. Lovely rural location with hiking trails on the doorstep. Tim was brilliant as one fridge packed up and within 2 days a new one was delivered and installed by Carlo (pool man). Overall a brilliant month with quality time together for everyone. Thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful family holiday.

The location is very quiet, peaceful and the views are stunning. Walk out of the door onto tracks to take you directly up into the mountains. The farmhouse is basic but adequate and to be honest in the summer you will really be outside on the patio or by the excellent pool.

Wow, stunning location!!

This house is in an awesome location and is a stunning place. I wish it were mine. The owner (Tim) seems really great and was good at communication. The property is a bit rough around the edges when it comes to kitchen fit-out and furniture but it is also really affordably priced. Tim is aware of this and I think he is planning some updates. View is amazing, pool is brilliant. We had a great time.

Fantastic location with amazing views

Away from it all, the views from the balcony and terrace are truly stunning. The property is rustic and charming with lots of space and good facilities. We loved exploring the surrounding area on foot and by car and the surrounding countryside and villages are lovely. Tim's communication was first class, sorting out some issues we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It is the end of season and the property is a little tired, needs repainting. The approach path is not good (maybe due to the recent gota fria). The pool has beautiful view over the valley. We lost water for a day (often happens in Spain) and Tim was very concerned about this and did everthing he could do to help us.

If you want peace, quiet and the only noise of an unspoilt countryside then this is it.

Getting there is fine, talk to the owner before to check the detail. Tim, is very helpful. The track to the farm house is rough but this is a mountain farm house and with care absolutely fine. Patio and pool - stunning. Pizza oven is brilliant. We went to Carrefour in Mercia for food other supermarkets are around. We would go back, no hesitation.

Quiet getaway, with views and private pool

The whole process was very smooth. Tim was very helpful with any queries. The views are amazing and it is in such a peaceful area. The pool and terrace are secluded and the house is spacious. We would highly recommend and will probably be visiting again soon.

Relaxing, remote, amazing view, great pool!

My friends and I had an excellent time at Tim's villa. The view from the patio is amazing, we spent pretty much all of our time out there, BBQing and swimming in the heated pool. We didn't have any kids with us, but there were plenty of toys around, and as adults we still enjoyed the pool floaties and the great selection of board games! The place had everything we needed for a few days of relaxation, even a juicer! There was plenty of space for a large group (there were 12 of us), and it was spectacular to be so remote, yet so easily accessible. I would highly recommend!

Spain in Spring

Villa is absolutely amazing, the location is breathtaking, so peaceful, (until we turned up) brilliant views. Very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, great storage . Was worried that April would be too cold but heated pool meant we could still spend lots of time in the pool, had to drag the kids out or they would've stayed in until midnight. Some really good games in the house so was brilliant for us all, had an amazing time. Great communication with Tim, can not wait to go back, thank you
