The hotels cleanliness was average. Nothing terrible. The room smelled stale like someone smoked in it. The tub floor was scratched, wood laminant on the bathroom door was peeling off, and the AC would not turn off. Not an experience that makes me want to book again.

Assessable rooms not a fit for able bodied

We were given an assessable room which was very inconvenient. We are able bodied and found the layout challenging to navigate. I would recommend that the room layout and accommodations be reviewed by those who actually need assessable rooms

The room had hair on the bed and floors. The hallways smelled like smoke. The smoke detector in my room was covered with plastic which is clearly a fire hazard. I checked out the same day and requested a refund. The property is poorly kept.

They only came to room every 3 days. Did not make bed or empty garbage. First room we had dirty rags and garbage in room. Overall cleanliness suspect. Won’t stay here again!

We stayed in the 2 queen/ twin sofa bed suites. Most everything was very nice and clean. The pool area is large and well maintained. Breakfast was well stocked and delicious. We had no major issues. One inconvenience was the twin sofa bed. It was poor quality and it squeaked all night long with any movement at all. The lack of sleep experienced because of that bed, is unfortunate. The linens for the sofa bed were also not provided in each room and the blankets given were scratchy and uncomfortable.

Dirty and dated. We were in town for a basketball tournament at the Henrico Sports Center so a group of us gathered in the lobby area to hang out for a little in the evening. We happened to kill two cockroaches, and then a 3rd in our room. They cut breakfast 35 minutes short on Sunday morning. The shower filled up with water around our ankles, the faux wood peeling off the planks, the bed had a serious dip in it, and stained curtains and drapes among other things. I’d expect this for a hotel $70-$100 but $155 for a nasty, unsanitary room is absurd.

Overall stay was good. The charger port on the wall did not work and maid service did nit clean our room during our two day stay although we did not have the do not disturb on the door, but the room was stocked with adequate towels and wash cloths for our stay. Parking was difficult because of all the work vehicles.
