Such a lovely place to stay and in an amazing location with awesome views. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved the toiletries provided in the bathroom. To eat its only a short drive to cafes or restaurants nearby. Diamond Beach is just a few minutes drive too. Behind the property is a scenic waterfall which is well worth a short hike. We loved staying here and will definitely be back.

Great place.

Great stay, fab location, lovely room and very warm throughout our stay. The filter coffee/coffee press was a welcome treat my partner enjoyed. Beds were very comfy with plush bedding and pillows. With A great shower as well...... nothing to fault here. Would def recommend and stay again.

A wonderful room with everything you’d require, other tan a bar fridge. Working out where to park was difficult but this could be due to it being very dark upon arrival and our having driven several hundred kilometres to get there.

Absolutely beautiful property with views of the glacier lagoon & its icebergs, multiple small waterfalls behind the property, and the sea. The complimentary French press coffee (diy) was the perfect way to start the day. I only wish they had more than one pillow per person, but this seems like a theme at many Icelandic properties. Highly recommend this property.

Great stay at EKRA

Loved having coffee and a French press to make it. The room was very clean and new, but way too hot at checkin. Leave the heat down low for the guest.

Note there isn’t a kitchen! Not sure why the photos make it seem this way but there is only a small fridge, coffee/tea, and a water heater. We LOVED the room though! Beautiful space with nice bathroom and comfortable/clean bed. The area around the property is stunning and so, so close to activities! We loved the easy drive to the glaciers and lagoon as well as Diamond Beach. We also had a nice waterfall directly behind the hotel which we loved. Definitely limited for food options though so be mindful! A couple restaurants close by but hours can be limited!
