First visit to Rethymno, and this has to be one of the nicest hotels in the nicest of towns. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the property is very modern, clean and any requests is never an issue. The manager Filio and reception staff Giannis were always on site to assist and the catering team Maria,Panagiotis and Pandeli were also helpful and friendly. Will sure visit in the very near future

Firstly Regina and her staff were so friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The rooms were large and modern with a comfy bed and the sea view was to die for. The location was in the middle of the promenade with a nice 15min flat stroll to the old town and harbour with some lovely restaurants on the way and within old town and the harbour. If we ever go back to crete we will certainly call back to the Ammos suites I would highly recommend these apartments with their lovely Staff.

We thought Ammos suites clean & comfortable. Always greeted with a smile in the mornings from all staff. Breakfast was good and service on the beach opposite was good too. Regina went 'above and beyond' and her team were the same. Small touches like a glass of iced water with our coffee was much appreciated. Will definitely go back there. THANKYOU .

Excellent all around

From the warm welcome, to the spotless, modern, amenity-filled suite with amazing views over the sea, Ammos Suites was fantastic. Regina was thoughtful and responsive, always willing to help. Generous, delicious breakfast was delivered to our suite each morning, as it was the off-season, and we were practically the only guests. We wished that we could have stayed a couple of more nights. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great welcoming

The hotel location is good, walkable distance to the old town, right in front of the beach. Regina is probably the nicest person in whole Crete!! She really makes you feel welcomed! The room was good size, and the bathroom, despite old, had the best shower pressure I’ve had in a while! I’d defo stay there again!

We were very pleasantly surprised by Ammos Suites. We were traveling with a 1.5 year old baby and the room was prepared with a baby crib. Regina the hotel manager went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time and all our needs were met. She and the whole staff were so kind to us and we would recommend this hotel to everyone. The service was top notch from start to finish.

Great hotel and a superb welcome

Met with a welcome smile from Regina from moment we arrived felt at ease. Offered a free upgrade upon check in.Great location metres from the beach and a 20 min walk to and from the town ensured we burnt off those calories after all the beautiful food the town has to offer.lovely rooms with fab view of the sea. Best place to stay in Rethymno thanks to Regina

Ammos Suites is the best located accommodation in Rethymno. It is right beside the beach and 9 rooms have balconies with direct sea views. The rooms are large and well equipped and it is a short walk into town. The beach is very safe for children even though we left ours at home! Regina the manager is wonderful. A real mother hen who is interested and worried about all her guests. She practically banned us from driving on a stormy day even though she herself had had to drive in that morning. This was our second visit to Rethymno and our second time at Ammos Suites. But it won't be our last cannot recommend it enough. By the way great Italian retuarant the Italian Corner on the road behind parallel to the beach road. Superb Carbonara pizza and seafood pasta. Also the Orange pub a few doors from the Ammos Suites has the nicest proprietor ever - Yannis.

Fabulous suites overlooking the beach.

Beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the beach .....the most comfortable bed EVER !! Regina is a fabulous host and when you leave, you feel as though you’re leaving behind a friend ....would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone

Hotel small, but nice, 40m to the beach. Hotel is not for people who like to lay down next to the swimming pool, because swimming pool small. One minus, that if your room windows in a city, you are not really can sleep with open window, because guys are coming to clean bins every day early in a morning, so it will wake you up. All other things was good.

Ammos was fantastic. The room was beautifully updated and the view was fantastic. Regina was the best!! We were sad we missed saying bye to her before we left! The beach/water is excellent, perfect for kids, lots of umbrellas and sunchairs. The restaurant downstairs was good. Very touristy area, but we actually would have stayed longer next time.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Nice hotel close to the beach not far away from the city center. The staff was very kind and helpful.The room was spacious and clean. You can park your car safely in the street. I would recomend the hotel to anybody ,people with families and couples.
