Modern, comfortable hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Good location about 20 minute walk from the main station, close to the old town with it's wonderful squares and bars and close to the new shopping centres.

Consider this one

We were given a nice two room plus bath apartment. Quite clean but clean glasses were not provided each day. Breakfast is outstanding. Public transit 50 meters away. Walk to Innenstadt and Schloss Gallery. Family owned and operated. Neighborhood maybe a bit “shady” but felt safe.

Average hotel

I would say this is a rather average hotel. Closer to three stars than four in my opinion. The hotel is situated in the old Town, so everything is close with some great Turkish restaurants right outside.

Great location.

Perfectly situated to visit the wonderful town of Braunschweig. Perfect wi-fi. Be aware that it's difficult to park in the area so be prepared to pay €14 per night to park in the hotel garage. I’ll definitely go back.

A pleasant stay in the city centre

I stayed in this hotel for four nights on a business trip at the beginning of December. The hotel has everything you need, is clean and pleasant. The breakfast is excellent. There is a large safe and a coffee/tea maker but no iron or ironing board. Room service was good. However, twice in the three days room service removed the used towels and forgot to put new ones in the bathroom. I had to ask at the reception, and they were quick to help. WiFi works OK in the room but is a little unreliable in the evening (you may need to disconnect and connect again to restore the internet connection). Not a big problem but could be improved. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Best Western City Hotel, Braunschweig July 2017

Great location, very close to the main shopping and restaurant areas. Bus and tram stop a short walk away, from where you can get to the main railway station. Room has a safe (no extra charge) and breakfast is included, unlike many of the neighbouring hotels.

Great Location for Braunschweig Marathon

Stayed here the night before the Braunschweig Marathon. Two minute walk from race start/finish at Kohlmarkt (city center). Room was great, breakfast was good, staff was great. Gym looked good, didn't get to use it though. Would definitely stay at the BW City Hotel Braunschweig again.
