Not good

Our room was dirty. There was brown stuff splashed on the walls that was easily wipable. I dont know how cleaning service missed it. The sheets felt like sand paper. Or there was actually sand. They do not provide a waterproof shower curtain so it just gets saturated and nothing prevents the floor from a flood. A partial ocean view means you have to lean over the railing and tweek your head a certain way to see the ocean. We only stayed 2 hours and left. Needs serious attention.

This property is austere but very clean. It is a block building with not much sound-proofing. First night was quiet with not many people there. The next 2 nights were fairly noisy. No food service is inconvenient. Very good coffee in coffee machine, made to order.

Beautiful room

The room was beautiful with a great view of the ocean. Loved the bathroom with deep tub and separate shower! We were not particularly impressed with the front desk. They seemed indifferent both at check in and check out

It was clean and beautiful. Staff is very nice. Behind the hotel is a beautiful lake with cherry blossom trees and the entrance/exit is steps away from the beach. It is a bit of a hike when walking back from the main things on the boardwalk, but not too bad.

The only complaint is that I don't think my bed was changed prior to my stay. We did not go to the beach when we arrived, but my bed had sand in it as did the floor. the sand was not from the floor because I wore slipper socks in the room and took them off before I went to bed. The issue was addressed quickly when I informed the Manager. There was dust and tissues etc behind the bed that was not ours. Considering that the hotel was only open 1 week prior, it was not deep cleaned while it was closed.

I have stayed here multiple times and it’s always been a pleasant stay. The property is located at the end of the boardwalk so the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk isn’t heard. It’s right in front of the beach and they have covered parking that is complimentary. Many things are walking distance and if you’re looking for luxury, I would suggest you stay elsewhere. I will be back
