While the room was quite small as was the bathroom, the hotel was conveniently located within a 10 minute walk of the train station, the seaside promenade, and the "old town" pedestrian area. The included breakfast was great and was served as a buffet with ham, salami, cheese, yogurt, fresh fruit, a selection of juices as well as fresh croissants, focaccia, fruit tart and cold cereal. The coffee was freshly brewed and even hot chocolate was available.
But what made this hotel extra special was Marco, one of the propietors, who treated us as if we were his special guests. He trained at a 5 star hotel and it showed. Not only is he fluent in several languages, but he provided every service he could to make our stay pleasurable. It was like having a professional concierge at a budget hotel.
