What enticed me about this hotel was the fact that it had kid friendly vibes and per prior reviews I read there was a childrens pool, waterslide and a mini water play area. The check-in process was straightforward and they gave us a pool key since we got there before our room was ready, so that was awesome! Once we got checked in they wanted to place my family very far from the Paradise(main pool) but I requested if they could adjust because originally, the prior guest services person said we were alot closer. So I greatly appreciated that because we had a toddler and planned on using the pool a lot and didn't want to do that trek back and forth. They have a pond that separates the rooms as you walk over to the pool and that was very fun for my toddler as she got a major kick out of seeing the ducks and the baby ducks. The other East pool, however, was closed the entire stay due to maintenance issues. This didn't affect our stay as we were on the side of the property, but it did make the Paradise pool busy. Also the kids play area (water park) was under renovations, but this wasn't bothersome either because we preferred the pool and that was on the other side of the property.We loved that it was further from downtown Palm Springs so it was quiet and very relaxing,but if we wanted to go there, it wasn't a far drive. The location was prime for going to the Living Desert.Overall we loved this property and would love to come back for our annual Spring Break family trip.:)

Great Family Weekend

First time staying here. Reception team were lovely. Professional, kind, engaged, warm and welcoming. Check in was super easy and quick and the front desk arranged a bellman to zip to our room to assist us with unloading. Perfect. The villa was spacious, meticulously clean, temperature controlled and cute. Very private, generally quiet. Roll out bed and a master room with a queen sized bed. The design of the villa is really meant to get guests OUT of the room. Small, strangely designed kitchen, but functional and well-stocked. It does the job. Nice big, clean, new fridge. Only one spot to sit down and the patio was comfortable as well. There were ducks and geese (very cool) and we enjoyed our breakfast on the patio and had a few of a fountain. Relaxing. A tad noisy at night with folks stomping around above us and the place was busy so parking was a tad competitive at the usual times. The only thing is that though it defines itself as a resort, it does feel as though they could amplify some of the added value. The pools were nice (two of them), very small fitness room, an outside gaming area and some convenient amenities. ATM, coffee, snack and beverage market, but that... was about it. So it felt more like a large, gated, sprawling hotel more than a - resort. Nonetheless, we had a lovely time. The staff are wonderful. That was a highlight. Immensely friendly and poised to assist. I also think they have timeshare options. Four stars. :)

The condo was large & very comfortable as well as attractive. The grounds were beautiful especially the pond running through the center area between the condos. I really enjoyed walking through that area ! The path alongside the golf course was very good & beautiful as well.

This place used to be the best! Service was readily available and eager to help. Facilities were easy to book and not confusing online as they are now. In fairness it's the same all over our country - either there are not enough available workers or the workers are underpaid and not respected maybe? I dunno' - sorry it is the case though. ALSO! separating the Villas and the Hotel with a terrible looking chainlink fence that limits the very social aspect of the whole place kills the vibe. Too bad.

We recently stayed at The Westin Mission Hills Resort in Palm Springs, after a bust of an VRBO rental, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The property itself is stunning—beautifully landscaped with lush greenery, scenic mountain views, and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. It truly feels like an oasis in the desert. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the overall design made for a welcoming retreat after a day of exploring followed up by soaking in the heated pool. Speaking of the pool—it was perfect! The water was refreshing, warm (as we visited in February) the setting was picturesque, and there were plenty of lounge chairs to relax and soak up the sun. It’s the ideal place to unwind. The staff was another highlight of the stay. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to make our experience enjoyable. From check-in to dining recommendations, they went above and beyond to ensure a great visit. Overall, The Westin Mission Hills Resort is a fantastic destination, whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or a base (20 mins to downtown) to explore Palm Springs.

We won’t be back. Villas are old and tired. Parking of $30/day seems excessive. You have to run the water for 5-10 minutes before it’s hot enough to bath or shower. Is this a good idea in California? We stayed at this property 8 years ago and nothing has changed. Too bad. It’s a great location and we enjoy the walk along the golf course.
