My experiences at the Millennium was not a good one. This hotel is on the list for patients and care givers of Duke Hospital. Considering we are at Duke means we are dealing with a hard live situation. I was locked out of my room due to an old door that stuck when attempting to close. I closed my door to leave and when I return the inside latch was closed on its own. It was late and there was no maintenance person available to assist. The security gentleman was a peach, as he attempted to assist the front desk agent to no avail. They both could not reach anyone on the phone to assist. Why is there not an emergency number for the employees is unthinkable. The front desk agent was graciously enough to offer a new room for the night. That was nice and all, but I did not have clothes, toiletries or my meds. I then asked the agent if I would receive an adjustment for the night. She attempted to reach her manager, who did not answer the phone. The next morning she advise me that the manager refused the refund. Why am I paying for a room that I was not able to access is beyond imaginable. I will be reporting this to the BBB, as the reason for my visit did not allow me to pivot to another hotel. I’m dealing with a family fighting for their life. This was a horrible experience. Please look forward to the BBB complaint as I think a financial reimbursement was not an unreasonable ask.

Holes and cracks in wall/ceiling, could clearly tell the toilet wasn’t cleaned because there was a pee stain on the back, and they said they offer a shuttle within 3 miles but when asked, said they only offer that for hospital guests. The main reason I booked this place was to take the shuttle to and from the Duke campus, ended up having to pay for parking instead…
