The hotel is dated, could be cleaner, one of the elevators was out, and they washed the breakfast dishes next to the dining area by hand in a tub. The staff was friendly and it smelled clean as we entered.

We stayed a single night but would stay again if in the area. The hotel was very conveniently located to food and shopping. The check in was smooth, the breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. The hotel could use some TLC.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights for the NCAA tourney. This hotel was conveniently located to the Lenova center and also to several restaurants as a shopping mall was across the street. That was very appealing to us as a matter of convenience. We stayed at several home wood suites by Hilton but I must honestly say this one is truly low budget. It is definitely showing signs of wear throughout. In the lobby, din area and rooms. The breakfast was ok . Not a great selection but you could find something . There was one staff and she had to be summoned several times by myself and others as things had run out and not replenished. Coffee, bowels , silverware. Upon check in we entered our room via a side entrance which was filthy . There were leaves and debris on the inside floor and something on the glass of the door that was unidentifiable and p disgusting. The floor was cleaned the next day but the glass on the door remained smeared through check out day. The outside grounds are worn down and muddy . As far as our room was concerned. It was clean enough however there was mold on the grout in several places around the tub. The staff I personally encountered were p low key as they never looked up and made eye contact or acknowledged me . So much for hospitality staff. A side note . Maid service is offered every other day not daily . This isn’t a big deal for me personally. And room supplies are slim pickings.

It stunk like mildew and dogs the elevator was raggedy for almost 200 a night I was extremely disappointed the location of the hotel was the only thing worth while I will never be staying here again

Overall I loved the stay. I’m new to Raleigh so I didn’t know the hotel was tucked away. I LOVED the bed! OMG it was so comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but it was a cute little suite with a balcony. I would’ve liked a Tv Guide to actually look at for the channels and my only other complaint was the elevators being down and having to walk sooooo far to the other ones. I feel like that should be a notice for guests after they book so they can be prepared. Other than that the staff was friendly, the area was quiet, and the room was very clean. I’d choose to stay here again.

The staff was very friendly, and helpful. However, the beds were NOT comfortable at all, also, it's an older hotel so it took a good 15 minutes to get hot water up to the 5th floor for a shower. The Free breakfast was just ok, as there were not many options. Pool was closed which was disappointing for my son.

I’ve stayed at this property multiple times and each time it seems to keep getting more downtrodden. It’s in desperate need of a remodel. I enjoy it because it’s spacious and nice to be “home away from home” but the interior conditions are run down. The wallpaper looks like there was a flood in the room. The shower was covered in rust stains. The bedroom curtains had weird stains all over them and some how I kept finding super long black hairs in the bed and on the sofa. It’s not bad but for the amount they charge for a room you can get something nicer across the street. The elevators also hardly ever work and if they do they’re very slow. The staff is always friendly and accommodating it’s just the property itself needs a new facelift.
