The place needs a good cleaning.

Front desk staff were nice. No assistance regarding the area. Breakfast was ok staff. Breakfast staff yelled at guests. There seem to be three elevators for the building and two are not working correctly. The rugs and the upholstery in the common areas or stained and dirty. I’m out room they made the bed with no blanket. The whole place could use a sanitizing cleaning.

I would never stay at this location at all. I was travelling & checked into the app at 12 noon so they was aware I would be arriving right at 3pm. I got to the hotel at 4:07 and the room was not ready. I had an appointment for my hair to be done in the room as well as a massage for Mothers Day. I waited patiently & didn't get put in my room until 6pm. I missed my massage as he was booked so he couldnt wait any longer. I was not refunded my deposit. My hair appointment I had to pay extra for being behind it was a disaster mothers day for me

Not terrible, but a lot to dislike. Although the room itself was fine, there were some problems. We had a couple spiders in the bathroom (not a huge deal), and the shower curtain didn’t stay closed. Maybe the rod itself was put in wrong, but the curtain would pool in the center and water would get out on the ends. I reserved a room that slept 5 people (king suite), but there were no linens for the pullout couch. I called to have some sent up and was told it might be a while. After it had been "a while", I called back and was told the same thing. By this point, it was going on 11 pm. I went down to the lobby to inquire in person, and there was a lady who had been waiting since 4pm for her extra linens. I've never been to a hotel that didn’t have the linens already in the room, and many have extra blankets and pillows even if there's not an extra bed. As we were getting an early start the next morning, having to wait that long was not ideal. Never when I was in the lobby was there anyone at the front desk, unless helping someone to check in. Always had to wait for someone to come out from the back. The next morning, I tried to use the business center to print something out, but the computer wasn't working. The front desk person seemed to be annoyed, saying someone was there to fix it and they had told him it was working. He was able to help me get my printing done by emailing it to him directly. He was very helpful. Not horrible overall, but don't recommend.

AC was broken in my room. Elevator broke down multiple times during 2 day stay. Stains on carpet. Musty smell. Overall the property needs some renovations done.

Trust but verify

It is a beautiful facility in a great location, priced fairly, with room spacing outstanding. However...the advertised reception for Mondays-Thursdays was not offered on Thursday when we arrived. We were told it only occurs once on Wednesdays and that has been the case since it returned after Covid.... The receptionist knew very little about the surrounding area, especially the advertised proximity to a pond and the local greenway walking trail.

It's an older place and is a bit outdated, but the staff has done a great job of keeping it clean. They are exceptionally friendly and helpful. For the price, location, and service, I would definitely recommend.

Older building and not the cleanest rooms. There are dusty areas. The lamp outlet at the beside was loose and not functioning properly. Mold in the shower. Muggy, hot hallways. Side door keypad lock didn’t work so we had to take the longer route to our room. Elevators were down on the first day. No security cameras anywhere, which is clearly risky in parking lots. Expedia didn’t list that the pool was closed. I didn’t realize NC has a pool opening ordinance. It was 89 degrees but no way to cool off. The back deck didn’t match the pictures, it wasn’t super relaxing. We wanted to hang out there…. Staff were EXCEPTIONALLY friendly. The one kitchen worker was noted morning long into the night and always asked how we were doing. She was incredibly kind and hard working. Darian was also helpful at the front desk.

Beautiful Hotel that needs an update

Ac did not work in the first room so they moved us to another room. This room was next to the elevator and it was very loud. The tub would not hold water. The room was very large and nice, but the hotel is definitely dated. The staff was very friendly.

Property seems nice but did not meet expectations. Only one working elevator that moves at a snails pace. Hallways and elevator are stifling. Hot and muggy. Not sure why. Website says breakfast starts at 6 which is why I chose this hotel only to find out it starts at 7 which we were gone before that. Beds have sheets and blankets. No duvet. No conditioner no smart tvs. Pictures show a pool which currently empty with leaves in it. Staff was rude on checkout.
