My fiancée and I had stayed at this location under different ownerships in 2015 and shortly after COVID in 2021, and while we had a nice stay in '15, it was not as memorable in '21, possibly to everything COVID-related. After seeing wonderful reviews as a Best Western, and after staying at a Best Western on Long Island in 2019, we felt confident in returning. The hotel staff was wonderful, as was the breakfast services. We found out that BW is considering discontinuing the waffles from the breakfast menu: I'm sure that others would echo the sentiment for BW to please keep them on the menu!! The only 'negative' was that the toilet seat was much lower than at home. My fiancée had a slight knee injury earlier in the year that made it a bit difficult getting down and up from the toilet. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay in Mystic, and would gladly book another reservation at this location the next time we are considering staying in and seeing everything in the Mystic, CT area.

My husband & I visited for the weekend. It was the least expensive option for the area. We did not like that there were limited breakfast options & that we could hear a lot of noise in our hallway & upstairs. We did like, however, the decor in the lobby, our room, and the close proximity to downtown Mystic.

Quiet, clean, updated room. But... damp.

Hotel was in an easily accessible location; we stayed here for a beach trip to Misquamicut, RI. It was quiet, clean, and had a good breakfast. The room was updated and clean. The beds were a bit hard, but comfortable enough. The main drawback for us was that the air in the room felt consistently damp... like the air conditioner wasn't taking moisture out of the air or something. Because it was so damp, nothing we hung up (bath towels, bathing suits from the beach, beach towels, etc.) dried out, ever, even after hanging for more than a day. We weren't expecting perfection... but after leaving a child's damp (not soaking wet) bathing suit hanging up for two full nights and days, it was still damp. The air also made our other clothes feel a bit damp, too. It was weird.

Place was clean and accommodating. Unfortunately, we experienced unruly noise coming from the room above us that went into the better part of the evening. The breakfast was good. If we should ever go back I would insist on a room on the top floor.
