Great roof top terrace and central location
It is a wonderful place to stay just beside the tile park, central to resturants, the beach and the Malacon, just a block away. The roof top terrace is a plus with beautiful views of the bay.
Pluses are the location. Although it can get noisy in the front with the bars but hey you can do zumba on your balcony at 8 am
outside. There is no phone in the room.
I thought i lost my cell and the management was more than accomodating to look at the security foot
Turns out, it fell out of my pocket into the garbad can right beside the toilet
Negatives were dirty blankets with hairs and stains on them and no face cloths from time to time.

Lively, walkable, and the center of all things..
Weekend trip... the location is superb and central. Easy walk to the Malecon and beaches. The city is vibrate with different entertainment options. Live bands, clubs, bars and just a place to decompress. The park is lively. But make sure you grab and interior room for a peaceful nights sleep.
The Eloisa is a perfect location for me. It's in the RZ and half a block from the beach. With the park below, there is very little traffic on the street. It's simple but clean. Always hot water for showers and coffee in the lobby in the morning. Wifi is iffy but they do say that. The day staff (Dora) is always friendly. The night staff could be a little more so.

Misleading description but great location
The hotel is in a great location with easy access to everything Zona Romantica has to offer. Unfortunately the room description is not accurate as they only have a few Resort View rooms. Although we had the same room type Standard Studio it had a courtyard view and no blackout drapes either. Check when booking!
Wonderful staff and very clean hotel. The rooftop pool and patio area was beautiful with a view of the ocean and can watch the sunset. The area is noisy at night with 2 bars next door, but they serve excellent drinks and the lovely park acrooss the street has many cultural events. Not a place for those who want peace and quiet! Great location close to beach and all the excellent restaurants in the Romantic zone.
Very convenient location.
Roof top pool and patio area was great.

It was definitely a budget property. The location was great if you don’t mind the noisy activities in Lazaro Cardenas Park. The Saturday market there is fun with tasty food. Although it was clean and the employees were pleasant, there were 2 problems.
1. The elevator broke down 2 different days for hours at a time. We were on the 5th floor and I have bad knees. That was no fun.
2. I understand that the pipes cannot accommodate toilet paper but it would be much more pleasant to live with it if they provided trash containers with lifs to cut down on the odor.
Hotel Eloisa is a great hotel in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta. The staff are very friendly and accommodating but it would help visitors if the speak some Spanish

Upon checking in with my three year old, there was two young workers boy & girl who checked us in but never gave me any details of the hotel just gave room key, bracelet and had the bell man take our luggage to our room. I booked 10 days with my 3 year old daughter with a room with a view. The young workers gave us a room with a window looking inside hotel to staircases. Anyone walking by to their room can look into our room so I constantly had to have the curtains closed.. I couldn’t even have window open open for air because anyone could put their hands inside! Yikes lol very nerve wracking. So after a long flight we rested then next morning I tried to ask the older lady if we could have a room with a view which I booked. She said she cannot help me to change rooms. Very disappointing with how the older lady was to me. No greeting from the older lady or the two younger workers everytime we came and went from hotel. The maids were excellent very nice, kind always talk to me and my little girl.
Also I never knew they had coffee in main area until I seen it on a table days later. The two young workers never gave me no information at all upon arrival. The only good thing was the location. Also, the pools were very cold to go in for us, like ice water
Nice hotel. Had some trouble with shower draining & getting hot water but otherwise an enjoyable stay

We are a couple in our twenties. We have been to Puerto Vallarta multiple times and have stayed in resorts in Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta. We are often exploring and don’t care for the pool or all inclusive. We wanted something walking distance to everything there is to enjoy. This was perfect. It was cheap, not luxurious but perfect for us. We had a junior suite but were updated to a suite. We had a kitchen (we never used it though). Pros: very close to restaurants, coffee shops and the beach. Staff was nice and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily. Cons: sewer smell, closet had an open ceiling. You could see pipes and such. Small pools.
However we didn’t book this place for the pools. We knew we weren’t going to use them. This is a great hotel if your coming to enjoy PV. If your someone that spends hours and hours at your hotel book somewhere else. We aren’t very picky so we enjoyed our stay. We really only used the hotel to sleep. There is AC. We didn’t use the WiFi. I heard it sucks. We have Verizon which offers internet access abroad. Again our favorite part was that we were so close to everything!! Enjoyed drinks at the American sports bar and some really great PHO a couple places down. And one of our favorite taco shops Senoritas around the corner.
