Casa Maria was a very nice place to stay. The rooms were extremely clean and freshly painted. So was the entire hotel for that matter. The staff were outstanding and very accommodating. I had a later return flight and I was able to take a later than check out shower. The location was excellent. I stayed in one of the few pool side suites. The pool was 12' from my door. The water was not heated but always clean. They even helped with a ride back to the airport. The breakfast was a nice arrangement of a small amount of fruit and simple scrambled eggs. Although I only had it a few times (opted for ranchero's down the block which are my fav). The only negative was the poolside rooms did not block a lot of sound so room to room and outside noise was noticeable. I've stayed in many rooms in Mexico and this was one of the tops.

I had an amazing stay at Casa Maria Hotel Boutique & Gallery! From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding — the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made me feel at home. They were attentive to every detail and always ready to help with recommendations or anything I needed. The decor of the hotel is absolutely gorgeous, with a perfect mix of modern chic and artistic flair. Every corner felt like it had a story, especially with the gallery-style atmosphere that made it a unique experience. The location is unbeatable! Situated in a vibrant part of the city, I was just steps away from great restaurants, shops, and attractions, making it super easy to explore and enjoy. Plus, considering the central location, the price was ridiculously affordable — I couldn’t believe how much value I got for such a cheap rate! Another huge plus is that the hotel is LGBTQ friendly. As a member of the community, it was refreshing to stay somewhere where I felt fully accepted and celebrated. The inclusive vibe really made a difference in my experience. Oh, and the pool! It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. The pool area was cozy and peaceful, and I spent a few afternoons lounging and soaking up the sun. Overall, Casa Maria Hotel Boutique & Gallery is an absolute gem. With top-notch service, beautiful decor, an ideal location, and amazing value, it’s a place I’ll definitely return to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for

Fantastic place, very small Boutique hotel, with a small bar. I the Heart of everything, right up the street from the iconic pier. And VERY quiet at night, as it’s in its own little enclave. Definitely would stay here again

Sliding glass door is only entry, loud area until late, bright lights from pool area by slider had to put up decor blankets over curtains (not black out). Thin walls. People sit a pool inches from the slider. Small beds. Old blankets. Very uncomfortable. Had to change hotels no refund. Staff ignored Expedias attempts to contact.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Maria! Louis at the reception was very welcoming, and warm to us throughout stay. He gave us amazing recommendations and the rest of the staff were also very friendly, helpful and always smiling. The hotel is right in the heart of where all good things are in terms of restaurants, clubs, bus stops and yet tucked just a minute away to be quiet as well. The theme of the hotel is very vibrant, and feels very Mexican! Rooms are so clean, and our room had a beautiful ocean view. The breakfast was good too! (Coffee was excellent). We would totally be coming back here on our next visit to Vallarta! Highly recommend Casa Maria for anyone planning to have a beautiful visit to this amazing city!

We had a very nice stay. The rooms were clean and homey. It is close to the beach and walking distance to a ton of restauranrs. We had to leave Mexico and head home early for a family emergency early. While we understand hotel policy, we were disappointed we didnt get any money back for the 3 nights we didnt stay. Overall it was a perfectly nice hotel.

The staff are all terrific, including Ava at the bar! They do a great job of constantly cleaning the shared areas (pool, bar, office) and the restaurant is a great little spot to grab a quiet coffee and complimentary fruit plate in the mornings. The pool and music close down at 9pm, and even before that it's not "loud" by any means. Decor is tasteful and energetic, the delightful staff really translates into all the guests having such a relaxing and happy stay. Right next door to Metamorfosis Day Spa, which we highly recommend for any treatments to pamper yourself! Very walkable to everything Zona Romantica has to offer.

This is a lovely hotel to stay in! It is well kept, it is clean, the rooms are spacious, and the bar is lovely. The only downside is there is smoking permitted by the pool, which I didn’t realize, and I should’ve read the fine print. Since the hotel is small, you can smell the smoke everywhere. Also, very thin walls in the room, and I heard every conversation next-door. But, it is a very lovely place with excellent staff.

Casa Maria is situated within a short walking distance to the beach, excellent and countless restaurants for all dining tastes. The hotel is clean and safe, with excellent and friendly staff. Our booking included breakfast which was really lacking. There were a few slices of fruit and once slice of dried toast. For a county that has such a variety of tropical fruit, a variety of fruits should have been offered along with healthy options.

Great Hotel in the Zona Romantica!

We loved this hotel! It was in the middle of the Zona Romantica and quite near the beach. The staff was helpful and attentive, and the room was comfortable and the entire facility was well maintained. The next time we visit Puerto Vallarta we will be staying here.
