Resort beach had unobstructed views and nice evening sunsets, no beach chairs, umbrellas or loungers not even for rent. Resort does provide a beach towel exchange for each person every day. The beach is not groomed or maintained it is a public beach with private access with security oversight from a neighboring resort. Resort has a nice pool area but no swim up bar or drink services poolside. Staff were great and helpful when needed. The meals are subjective and same offering of some traditional Dominican style food for most every meal including rice, beans and potatoes with accompanying salads and meat options. Breakfast never had bacon but included an island sausage offering instead. Fresh fruit was always fantastic and available with all meals. No evening events, music or excursion counter at this resort. The new owner is actively making some renovations to the property and committed to making this resort the best. Location is this resorts shining star close to many restaurants, shopping, bars, ice cream, markets, massage studios, and other beaches within an easy 5-12 minute walk. The area has a police presence and tourist protection I felt safe with my family to explore the area without concern for any safety concerns. This is a smaller quiet resort with a quaint and comfortable feel, some buildings within the resort offered no elevator and the ones that did were out of service so if you are older or are disabled you may want to request 1st floor.
