Built in 1895, this fully restored 2 bedroom 1 bath home is perfect for work and play in Provo. Pet-friendly with a beautiful fenced yard. Private parking. Huge Flatscreen TV. We booked this property because of the yard for our pups. It is a shared yard. This was never disclosed. The other tenant routinely disrupted our yard time. We have one very skittish dog and this created a very stressful situation. Also word of warning to pet owners with skittish pups, there is constant traffic and train traffic. The home is less than two blocks away from a train crossing. This is continuous throughout the night. The location is convenient but not worth the constant traffic at night.The good points. Owner was responsive and check in and check out was a breeze. Beds were comfortable and place was very clean. The living room furniture was uncomfortable making it hard to relax. The house is very cute with tons of character. The yard needs to be divided. At one point the gate on the other side was not latched which made us paranoid about leaving our pups out without us being out there with them.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very charming little pioneer house and clean. We would definitely stay again when back in Provo, if available. Recommend to anyone looking for a pet friendly house ( our dogs loved the fenced in yard ). The only complaint I can say, is the shared laundry room and finished laundry not being removed when finished and having to wait for open washer and dryer. All in all, very enjoyable trip.

The house lives up to its reviews, and more. Our dog Brody absolutely loved running around the fenced in yard. The house is well decorated and landscaped. We had access to every amenity we needed. The house was walking distance to downtown Provo and vibrant shops and nightlife (the kolache shop was my favorite). House is on a quiet street with ample street parking and a great view of the mountains. Recommend 100%!

Beautiful home and view

We loved this beautiful old home and what a beautiful view! It was very comfortable and the water, chocolates and free Netflix were a pleasant surprise. Loved the different coffee pods too.The dogs had a great time exploring the yard. The only minor negative was some road noise and the neighbor doing some yard construction next door. But the location is nice for dog walking to the park and quick drives to the store and food. Would definitely stay again.

A charming little house

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was clean and well appointed. The host reached out and was accessible. The neighborhood was pleasant and close to shopping and points of interest. Although it was quite close to the commuter train track, the host did conveniently supply earplugs.

Loved this Pioneer House!

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed taking in the old-fashioned details of the house - the exposed brick walls, the amazing wood trim and mouldings, and the beautiful flooring. The home is comfortable and cozy. It has historical details alongside modern conveniences. Instant hot water! Great A/C! The monitor above the desk with the provided HDMI cable is a fantastic idea and one I think we will use in the VRBO that we host! It worked great with my laptop. The view from the front door is amazing - beautiful landscaping with the mountains as a backdrop! If we ever have occasion to stay in Provo again, I will be looking for this place!

House as pictured, super clean and had all the essentials to make you feel at home. Communication, driving instructions and house rules very clear and easy to follow. Great historic home; if only the walls could talk! Oh yeah, great fenced in yard for the fur babies, nice addition.

The house is adorable. I was so impressed with the thought that went into renting the property. It is an old house but it was completely redone and super clean. My husband, who is super picky, thought the house was great. Will rent again.

Holiday home away from home

The Pioneer House was beautifully updated, clean, comfortable, and cozy. Our family was able to spend precious time there together while visiting our daughter. Communication with the host was excellent. The location was convenient, and it was easy to get around town and to the ski resort. We enjoyed the yard and the view from the house was majestic. Would love to stay again!

Splendid Provo Cottage with Great Location
