My Husband's Pick

This is definitely an older motel. The staff was wonderful and there is a decent Mexican restaurant on the 4th floor. There is very limited parking where our room was located. Also, the room we were in was not anything like the pictures on Hotels.com. That all being said, we only spent one night arriving later in the day and leaving early. I am not sure if the property is being updated or not. There was no indication of work being done. For a quick one-night stay this is an ok location. Just know that this is an older motel that is in need of some TLC. Just a footnote, we picked this motel because many years ago my husband would stay there for work purposes. He also said he remembers it being just like it is now.

We enjoyed our stay at the Landmark and will stay there in the future if we travel to Pikeville. The front desk staff were extremely nice, and the room was very clean and spacious.

The manager at the front desk was wonderful! I had been awake for over 24 hours working & driving to see my boyfriend in the hospital & she gave me an early check-in time! She also told me about calling the hospital to get the friends and family discount that Landmark offers to PMC hospital patients' families, which was a HUGE blessing to me financially! I truly appreciated the effort that this hotel put in to make my stay there the best they could! I would highly recommend this property as my room was clean & quiet & I couldn't begin to beat the rate they give to PMC patient's families/friends anywhere else in Pikeville!

Its an older hotel but for 1/2 the price than the Holiday Inn down the road. Rooms are a bit dated as you'd expect for an older place, but the housekeeping staff do their best to keep your room clean and smelling fresh. Front desk staff were great- easy check-in and easy out. I had a 4th floor balcony room that looked over the back parking lot towards the hillside, it was pretty in the morning with the fog laying on the green hills. It is on a main busy street but convenient to access the area. I did not feel unsafe at all walking around the building to and from the car and the grounds were well kept. I am picky, but i thought the hotel was a good value and with some minor improvements like: brighter paint on the walls, some brighter light bulbs and fresh carpet could make this hotel stand out even more. Thank you Landmark for a great convenient and comfortable stay!
