Gîte Prats de Sournia Balcon du Fenouillèdes
Gîte de la Gaouna is a communal gite.
The cottage is a small completely independent village house, located in one of the pedestrian streets at the top of the village.
It consists of 3 rooms including 2 bedrooms, and it is ideal for 4 people.
A small, well-shaded outdoor terrace is equipped with garden furniture.
Prats de Sournia is a picturesque village in the Pyrenees Orientales.
Its charm, its welcome and its splendid panorama will not leave you indifferent. Nicknamed "Le Balcon du Fenouillèdes", perched at an altitude of 640m, you can admire a superb view of the Corbières, the Gulf of Lion and the Canigou.
Most of the streets are pedestrian but parking lots on the outskirts of the village allow you to park without problems
car access is nevertheless possible near the cottage to load and unload
All the lanes which go up will lead you to the signal tower of XIème which dominates the village.
The village is characterized by stepped streets which serve several small plots.
Whether you stay in Prats, or simply stroll through its alleys, the locals will give you the warmest welcome.
Prats is equipped with a municipal swimming pool open in summer: this will allow you to take advantage of a supervised swimming away from the hustle and bustle of the coast.
