The 3 season room, which is a favorite, is perfect for morning coffee or an evening night cap! Newly remodeled kitchen & bath. Perfect for 2 guests but can accommodate up to four.

We are blocks from St.Feriole Island and the historic Villa Louis and Dousman House. It’s a short distance to downtown for shopping and dining.

This is a clean and comfortable place in the heart of the driftless area. I've been a guest 3 times, and have nothing but good to say about the house and the communication. The area has so much to offer for the outdoors types, and this has been a cozy place to return to.

Very clean & well cared for home. Nice decor - warm & friendly. Trains a bit noisy but not overwhelming. The shower head could be a bit softer and the shower curtain is a bit short allowing outer curtain and floor to get wet. I’d suggest some longer hooks that would lower it a bit. Hate to see your floor get damaged over time. We enjoyed our stay.

This property is fantastic. A very clean and cozy home. Pet friendly if you have a pet. The only thing I did not enjoy was how close the train is. No fault of the wonderful owner, whatsoever. Would stay again, if in the area. 100% would recommend.

We booked the Hardwood House because we were visiting the Effigy Mounds for fall colors. It was only 12 minutes drive. There are restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations nearby.The house was immaculately clean and homey. Beds were comfortable. I appreciated having a dishwasher so we didn’t have to spend our time washing dishes. The porch was very nice but we didn’t end up using it. The “pet station” was a very nice touch.The host was a great communicator and accommodating our request about our pet. She left the porch light on for us, as we arrived late.The house is located near train tracks and the train horn went off hourly as it was coming through town.

Perfect little cottage

We stayed here for a family wedding. The location is excellent t and it is a quiet little neighborhood. The cottage had plenty of space for four adults. It was cute and very well maintained. Definitely recommend!

Harwood House is a Honey of a house!

We loved our stay at this house. It was our 2nd time and everything was great! Will keep it in mind for future vistis to Prairie du Chien. (Be aware that the stairs to the upper area are fairly steep.)

We enjoyed our short visit in this immaculate and tastefully decorated home. The home was well stocked with anything we needed - even people snacks and dog snacks. I loved the enclosed sun porch with the coffee bar! So relaxing in the mornings. Very simple check-in and host was always very timely with replies. This is one of the best VRBO’s I’ve visited and highly recommend staying here.
