This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Dirty, old, and not safe. I cannot believe Expedia has it on their site. The only good thing about it is the location. 1st lets start with the entry. Arrive at the door and is a telecom, like the apartment buildings where you have to be buzzed in. Problem is this requires someone at the front desk. Otherwise you stay at the door pressimg 1 over and over. My room was on 1st floor, perhaps other floors are better. Carpet is old and dirty and torn. What an arrival. And their carts are left all over. This is at night, not while they are working. Room entry the lock is bent. Clearly someone has tried to stick a screwdriver or something in it. To lock from inside I had to lean on fire and press. Not safe!! Bathroom shower sprays everywhere. So much so there fort needs to be replaced. To top it off the door stop is a pin just outside the entry, easily a place someone can step on and hurt or puncture food. Insane!! Lights in room, on ceiling the fixture has 3 bulbs, 2 are out. Next to bed a lamp, also does not work, so one light works in room. Noise, can hear people in room above walking around, people in room next toe talking, bathroom on the otherside. Then, on the street can hear trams and trucks. Again, this place is terrible. Had I paid 40 euro I would say I got what I paid for. I paid at least 3 times more than I should have for this lodging.

This place was a bit of a surprise. When I arrived it looked a bit run down once you enter the stairs area. Even in the reception area, i was still thinking “ok you’re getting what you paid for”. But once in the room, i was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room and cleanliness. The hotel overall is dated and could use some renovating, but for the price, you can’t beat it. Plus you get breakfast. Can’t go wrong with this place. Close to all the attractions, restaurants and train station. I’d definitely stay here again.

THE LOCATION WAS IN THE CENTRE AND GOOD BREAKFAST. THE ROOMS VERY WERE BASIC. THE TOILET DOOR DOESN’T LOCK EASILY. IT WAS A STUGGLE FOR A FAMILY. THERE WAS NO TOOTHPADTE IN THE SHOWER. YOU NEED TO BUY SEPARATELY. THERE WAS NO KETTLE IN THE ROOM.

This place is fantastic for a budget. I feel like I got a phenomenal experience in comparison to what I paid for. While obviously I would have a higher quality experience at a Marriott or something of the sort this hotel fulfilled all my my needs as a young traveler on a budget. Pros: The beds and bathrooms was most certainly clean, and my bathroom actually seemed newly refurbished compared to the rest of the building. The breakfast was actually quite good compared to what I am used to in this budget range. The staff was friendly and helpful. Cons: There are definitely parts of the building that are dated and need repairing, including paint chipping away, old windows, and just the general problems that come with age. None of these physical issues impacted the quality of my stay however. One other negative is there seemed to be a spot of water damage on my rooms ceiling. Overall, I am incredibly satisfied with my stay and would utilize it again if I return to Prauge.

Good location BUT steer clear of this hotel! First impression is ‘this looks as though it’s seen much better times’ and this continued. Liked that you had to buzz to get in but no intercom so anyone could enter. The entrance is run down, the stairs un carpeted and not clean, the walls grubby as is the lift - it’s dirty! The reception area is dismal and dark. The corridors are dark in fact the motion sensor took so long to kick in I had to use the torch on my phone! Scary to say the least and could be disastrous in the event of an emergency. The room I was given - well worst I’ve ever encountered, grubby, stained carpet, a few steps down from bathroom to bedroom - no rail, bed small and uncomfortable- I sat on it and decided no way could I sleep there. Very little furniture and the windows were filthy and on opening seemed barely capable of not disintegrating, looking outside onto the roof of a railway station there was a lot of discarded rubbish. This hotel was probably a railway one originally but now, well words fail me, I lasted just a few minutes before I realised I couldn’t stay there, disappointed as wasted my hard earned money and it wasn’t the cheapest option available when booking well in advance!
