Nestled in a charming boatman's village on the banks of the Seine, our farmhouse has been carefully renovated to preserve its charm. Excellent property for our family stay in France. Hosts gave a nice welcome then left us to enjoy our stay. We always felt they were available if needed.Smart and clean inside, with all modern facilities. En-suite for both bedrooms. So very pretty on the outside. We enjoyed most of our meals out on the back patio overlooking the garden / allotment area.There is lots to do locally. I would recommend hiring the bikes. The land is flat and easy to ride. We rode a riverside path and some cycle paths around the lake. The lake itself has lots of great watersports that are accessible to children and families, and at reasonable prices. We even jumped on the train at Val-de-Reuil (excellent service) and had a day in Paris. Recommended.

wonderful Place between Paris and Atlantik

We had such great days. Many activities are possible with children by bike and on foot. A great restaurant, a small shop and the nearby village of Pont de lárche with great bakeries and restaurants make the stay perfect. Surrounded by water, it is almost like the sea and much warmer than the Atlantic Ocean and very close to Paris. We had 10 fantastic days. The host is very nice and helpful in everything - plus fresh eggs and good excursion tips. The area around Poses is wonderful.
