A lovely spot to stay in Porvoo. The staff were so lovely and found a place for my bike inside the building. The breakfast was amazing and the sauna was excellent.

Good value for money

Room was basic, but clean. Very good breakfast was already in the fridge and room had kettle, coffee and tea. I really enjoyed the self service sauna. Hotel was quiet and service friendly. Good value

Old mental asylum with all the treats

I booked this hotel purely based on price and the fact that it was converted from an old mental health hospital. Porvoo is a tiny town, so everything is close and they have a great town bike system. The conversion was not much, as the place looks just like any old hospital or care facility, which means big rooms and large spaces. Quite well lit as well. The beds were okay, pillows quite crappy but expected for the price. The location is a bit weird as well, in the middle of a residential area outside of the actual tiny center of town. Still, would go again if the purpose was to stay for the night and move along, which is what I did.
The public kitchen area in the floor, each floor (four in total) has two wings with four rooms each, with a public space in each wing. Spacious!

HyvÀ perus hotelli.

Todella hyvÀ majoituspaikka perheen kanssa. Tilavat huoneet vanhassa vanhainkodissa ja myös pyykinpesu onnistui. Aamupala oli aika niukka valikoimaltaan mutta hintaansa nÀhden todella hyvÀ valinta. Porvoon vanhakaupunki lÀhellÀ.

HyvÀ majoitus edullisesti

Erinomainen valinta majoittumiselle, jos on liikkeellÀ pienemmÀllÀ budjetilla. Alue oli rauhallinen, huone oikein siisti ja palvelu ystÀvÀllistÀ. Aamupalakin tÀytti tarpeet, vaikka olikin melko yksinkertainen. Ainoa pieni miinus oli huoneen lÀmpötila, mutta majoittauduimmekin juuri kovimpien helteiden aikaan. Huoneessa oli vain yksi tuuletin. Tulen kuitenkin ehdottomasti uudelleen, jos tulee tarve majoittumiselle Porvoossa seuraavan kerran.
