Five Star Hotel

What you would expect from a 5 star hotel: great service great breakfast buffet, and large, comfortable rooms. This hotel is also in a perfect central location to all the Porto sights! It was Easter during our stay, and when we arrived back at the hotel at night, they had left a note with chocolate eggs and a traditional, Portuguese Easter cake for us!

This was a great choice for several days in Porto for a first trip — and I’d choose it again. Great room, terrific and bountiful breakfasts, genuinely friendly staff, and very convenient for getting around. Be aware: there’s construction around the city and near the hotel for a new subway line, but no noise in the hotel. It’s easy to walk down to the waterfront without being on top of it, a plus.

Perfect Choice

We were looking for a hotel that was central to the city sites and close to a metro station. Pestana Porto more than fit the bill. The staff was very helpful. The morning bruch was exceptional.

Perfect in Porto

A perfect location in Porto. Nice breakfast, clean, comfortable rooms and helpful staff. We loved how easy it is to walk everyplace and park our car nearby for the duration of the visit. Enjoy Porto!

Great property in a great location. All staff we encountered were amazing. The biggest draw back for us was the bed was extremely hard. For some, that may be good. We also found it awkward to get in and out of the shower which was a taller style tub with nothing to hold on to but the glass surround. The floor of the tub was on an angle where you step in. But over all a great hotel. Would definitely return.

This hotel is great. The staff is awesome. It is in a great zone where you can walk to everything and it has nice dinning options in a very walkable distance. If we go back to Porto we will definitely stay there again.
