The Space:
The apartment offers a mezzanine-style en-suite bedroom, providing a welcoming and private environment. The fully equipped kitchen is ready to meet your culinary needs, ensuring comfort during your stay. The living room, with its sofa bed, is an inviting space to relax, with direct access to the private terrace, ideal for enjoying moments outdoors. For added convenience, the apartment has air conditioning, a washing machine, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a TV box, ensuring a complete and enjoyable experience.
Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the entire apartment, including the fully equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms, the bedroom with a double bed, and the living area. Enjoy the patio/balcony and backyard as well.
The Neighborhood:
Located on Rua D. João IV, the apartment is in the vibrant heart of Porto. Just steps away is the iconic Bolhão Market, a historic market in a neoclassical building, brimming with fresh produce and local traditions. A short walk (6 minutes) is the Campo 24 de Agosto Garden and Bus/Metro Terminal, making it easy to explore the city. For your shopping, a supermarket is only 2 minutes away. The surrounding area offers a wide selection of restaurants and cafes, with paid parking options nearby. For an authentic gastronomic experience, try the famous Francesinha at Café Santiago or traditional Portuguese cuisine at the Abadia restaurant. Getting Around:
To facilitate your arrival and departure, we offer a transfer service upon request (price on request). Furthermore, the apartment's location at R. de Dom João IV 356, 4000-297 Porto, Portugal, benefits from an excellent public transport network. The nearest metro station, Marquês station, is a short walk away, providing quick and easy access to various parts of the city, including the historic center and the riverside area. For those traveling by car, there is paid parking near the apartment. Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO) is conveniently located about 15-20 minutes away by car or public transport, with direct metro connections.
Other Things to Note:
In order to make Porto more attractive, the municipal tourism tax has been implemented. The fee of €3.00 included in the price of the stay applies to guests over 13 years old. It is charged per person and per night, up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights (conditions subject to change by local legislation at the time of booking and/or check-in).
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team finds any evidence of this rule being violated (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, cigarette butts, etc.), a minimum fine of €200 will be applied for smoking.
If you wish for a late check-out, please contact our team to check availability. After the check-out time without authorization, a charge of €200 per hour will apply.
If you lose the key, a fee will be charged (price upon request). If you leave the keys inside the apartment and require our team’s assistance to open the door, a fee of €40 will be charged after 7 PM. If the key is left in the door lock (requiring a technical intervention), the cost will be determined upon request.
For bookings of 28 nights or more, there is a limit of €150 for water, electricity, and internet/TV package expenses. If this amount is exceeded, the additional cost will be paid by the guest.
The tenant agrees to allow the host’s staff to inspect the property whenever requested, with monthly visits expected for this purpose.
