We stayed one night as we passed through Porto Alegre. Front desk staff was great & very helpful. Bed was comfortable, AC worked great, extra blanket/pillow available. No safe. We found it strange to have no glasses or cork screw in the building. Rooms are quite small & very basic. The breakfast was so-so for our experience in Brasil. Located on a very busy street. Valet parking was available for a reasonable price. The door man was very kind. Overall, it was acceptable but not remarkable.

One of the worst hotels I stayed at in Porto Alegre. Staff were polite, but the check in process was very lengthy. The room was smaller than average and it didn’t even have a full bathroom, the sink was outside the bathroom door, on the entry hallway. The shower water wouldn’t stay warm, it would go from super hot to super cold non-stop. For that price range there’s better options in the city, a few of them close by.

The hotel rooms are small but if the plan is just for sleeping then is is great.The breakfast is awesome,have valet parking not overcharged and front desk people are very friendly and helpful.

Ibis is well known for no frills, clean and affordable rooms. All I want is a good/clean bed and good/clean bathroom. Well, this time i was extremely disappointed with the shower. The water would suddenly becomes scalding hot for 5 seconds and immediately turn ice cold for another 5 seconds. The following morning, upon check-out, I mentioned to the front desk clerk and he already knew of the issue. He even mentioned that maintenance was aware aand theey don't do anything. But, even knowing, they still rent thee room without mentioning to the guest. Since I have other options within that area, my next time will be on another property.
