Great value, good service, excellent location

The staff was friendly, despite experiencing some technical issues and staffing shortages. Sadly, the beautiful bar/lounge was closed for business but open for seating. The fireplace is very inviting, especially compared to the small and slightly awkward front desk area. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable, with minimal amenities or additional seating area. We heard hardly any noise other than the light drone of the nearby highway. Parking was convenient and affordable. We will return and would recommend for those looking for an affordable and conveniently located getaway to Portland.

There was just a lot of homeless people in the area like tents on the sidewalk directly in front of the lobby entrance. Other than that it was a super cute hotel the service was great and it was decently priced. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff were incredible! Kind and resourceful. The rooms were nice and clean and cute! Free drinks upon checkin were a nice perk. I will say it was warm in the room but they gave us a fan and we were able to open the windows and that helped. The area is a little desolate, but there was a food cart lot just a few blocks away. That being said Portland as a whole seemed desolate and full of homeless folks. While it’s not the hotels fault at all, I didn’t feel safe being out after dark, but there wouldn’t have been anywhere in the city that I would’ve felt safe after dark to be honest.

The wifi didn’t work for half of my stay and the staff did nothing but basically tell me sorry about your luck about it not working. There were quite a few extra fees the hotel had that were not disclosed anywhere until they were already running my card and charging me (costing me a couple hundred extra). Hotel is clean but the walls are very thin between rooms so expect to hear everything your neighbor has going on
