Welcome to Swirly Sun Cottage – a freshly built, pet-friendly retreat in Port St. Joe where sunshine, relaxation, and coastal charm come together. In less than a 5 minute walk (I walk it in 3 minutes!) you will be at North Cape Beach. You'll love the sound of the waves, and gorgeous sunset views from the private pool. Inside the home you will find a spacious living room and kitchen with a great flow from the covered porch that overlooks the pool. Beyond the living area you can rest in any of the three bedrooms perfectly decorated for your beach getaway! Bring your dogs, we are pet friendly ($150 pet fee for up to 2 dogs).

Gulf County Florida has so much to offer. It's widely known for its eco-tourism. Snorkeling, fishing, paddle boarding, there is always something to do outside! Reid Avenue has several things to offer from the lighthouse, shopping, and restaurants in the downtown area of Port St. Joe. Most love to come here to ride horseback on the beach and visit the historic community of Apalachicola. When you want to experience the beauty of St. Joseph Bay, visit nearby Salinas Park with a playground, picnic table, fire pit, and boardwalk over the serene water. You can even get in some exercise by walking, running, or biking on the 19-mile paved trail.

A few reminders for your trip:
- A minimum set of basic toiletries are provided
-We suggest you bring additional toiletries for your stay
-One towel, one washcloth, one hand towel are provided per guest.
-While all of our homes do have internet, it can't be guaranteed. If your internet were to go out, you would need to plan on using a mobile hotspot or another option for your wifi needs.
-Be aware of the UV levels, some days it's dangerous to be in the sun for too long
-Rip Tide Warnings - the riptide can be worse on some days, so it's important to keep
watch on this.
