Living Room: Sofa with Full Sleeper Sofa, Love Seat, and Single Chair. Vaulted Ceilings, Large Flat Screen T.V., and breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico and St. Joseph Bay!

Great lil spot!

We have enjoyed Cape San Blas on other vacations but this spot is our new favorite as its not so cramped against the neighbors and you have privacy. Cant wait to book for the fall. Thank you for hosting us!

Location is everything!

The location of this beach house is perfection. Communication with the property manager was less than perfect - very slow responses. The freezer has no ice maker and the listing clearly states that you can park more cars/boats than you should unless you have a four wheel drive to get out of the sand. The inside of the house is nothing special or homey. The blinds have sections that are missing so privacy was a small issue. The area was beautiful and worth visiting. We stayed mostly at Port St, Joe shopping and eating. Mexico Beach and Apalachicola is not far away to visit. We will definitely be back to the area-just in a different beach house. Cape San Blas is a beautiful place

PERFECT

Everything was perfect except it was alittle too close to the main road which was fine with us but it made our little dog very nervous and he didnt want to leave the house. He is a cairn terrier and they are alittle skiddish about certain noises. but it was the best house weve stay at on the cape.

Mold issues on property

Hi, everything about this property was amazing—the location is great and the beach was wonderful. However, the cleanliness was just okay. The main issue I had was the obvious signs of mold in the master bathroom, coming out of the vents, on to the ceiling and in the kitchen. I am currently going through mold toxicity, and this was very triggering for someone who is detoxing. This is a major health concern. I tried to contact the property manager but received no response. I wish I could attach pictures because I took a lot—the mold needs to be addressed!

Perfect Location and Beautiful Home

This home was well equipped and in an extremely convenient location being first on the Cape past the rock wall. The owner communicated so well with me about the incoming hurricane and telling us what to expect and what the best decision would be for our safety. The home was beautiful and clean. We had everything we needed and the beach was empty all around us. Everything was wonderful and we would definitely rent this home again!

The best vacation we’ve had!!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay this property is in the perfect spot. You get a beautiful view of gulf off the back of the house and the same is to be said off the front of the house of the bay. The beach was very clean and there so many shells. There is also dolphins that pass by the house every morning around 6:45. The house was extremely clean with plenty of space. We will definitely be back to this property.

Great House, Great Location

The beach and bay views are hard to beat! No shortage of things to do on the peninsula. Bike trails are extensive and lack of congestion makes the area very bike & walk friendly. Great DIY fishing opportunities close by. Good seafood eats nearby at St Joe Shrimp Co and Coneheads.

Beautiful view

Beautiful view few steps to the beach. Found it to be so much fun watching the fisherman just steps away pulling in their catches for the day. Furniture was very nice. My only complaint was the range because we tried to cook meals several times had difficulty with the oven. Actually we never figured out how to set the oven controls. Aside from the range I highly recommend this property. It’s perfect.

Excellent house right on beach

The house was exactly as pictured, in great condition and right on the beach. Loved seeing sunsets directly in front of the patio… hvac, water pressure in shower, bedding etc was all good. The only minor thing was property management communication wasn’t very responsive but luckily, my questions were all minor so it was fine that we didn’t get answers. As with any rental, be prepared to bring your own cooking ingredients needed etc. They give a good starter for soap, dishwashing detergent, paper towels and even laundry soap. One thing to note, the beach wasn’t incredibly walkable…. to the left, it ends in about 50 yards by rocks and to the right, there’s maybe a half mile stretch to walk before you hit a house… and the beach line is gone in high tide - so in high season, when there’s more people on the beach- it will seem like they’re right outside your door as it’s close to the house. But it still felt like we had privacy. Probably just a fact with this part of the panhandle but beach walking is the main thing we like to do so it was a little disappointing. But even so, the location and the rental itself was great for the Cape.

Just needs some attention

I have reached out to host and have yet to hear back, communication was poor prior to and during our stay except for the Internet connection at onset, which improved after the company reconnected house lines all along the street- pure luck. Home wasn’t as advertised, dining chair found broken in closet, another one bent and unsteady so no place to dine or entertain as even the bar stools were very uncomfortable and not sturdy. We were there over a month so that gets old quick. Dishwasher not bolted to cabinet (dangerous) and the drawers of freezer not proper ones as they didn’t fit on track and kept falling on us when pulling them out. Probably 75 percent of dishes, glasses and cookware we used were put away dirty so I ended up washing almost everything by hand and restored a couple skillets for them. Ceiling fan in master and guest room only used high speed (useless) and were caked with dust. Broken chairs on both decks. All these were addressed to host but since they didn’t respond, I am posting this now. It just wasn’t up to par for the price and I’m requesting a refund for our cleaning deposits as I left it in much better condition than I found it. View was five star awesome and it’s great for kids and families, summer especially.

Perfect location
