Whether you’re preparing meals in the gourmet kitchen, relaxing in the saltwater hot tub beneath the cedars, unwinding in the custom dry sauna, gathering around the fire pit, or cozying up beside the wood-burning fireplace, every corner of the property has been thoughtfully designed to create a memorable experience.
As you wind down the quiet lane toward the property, you’ll begin to feel the peaceful rhythm of the forest around you. Passing open fields and towering trees, the chalet slowly appears through the cedars, welcoming you into a setting that feels both enchanting and deeply grounded in nature.
Inside, the home is filled with character and craftsmanship—from vaulted ceilings, skylights, and timber framing to intricate brickwork, balconies, and custom wood details. The expansive gathering spaces and themed bedrooms create a setting that feels ideal for reconnecting with family and friends while still offering quiet places to retreat and rest.
Guests enjoy a variety of unique amenities throughout the property, including a gourmet kitchen with double cooktops, oversized refrigerator and freezer, wet bar, indoor wood fireplace, propane fireplace, European-inspired bathrooms, covered outdoor kitchen and bar, cedar decks, detached game room, custom dry sauna, and a fire pit gathering space designed for evenings beneath the trees.
Our neighborhood offers the best of both farmland and forest, all set against the backdrop of the Olympic Mountains. Though peaceful and private, Olympic Holiday Haus is conveniently located near many of the region’s most beloved destinations, including Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent, Lake Sutherland, the Elwha River, Salt Creek Recreation Area, Sol Duc Hot Springs, Olympic Discovery Trail, Camaraderie Cellars, Harbinger Winery, Barhop Brewing, and more.
Personal vehicles are the best way to explore the Olympic Peninsula, and the property offers ample parking for your group.
A few important things to note before booking:
• Gatherings and events of up to 50 total guests are welcome with prior approval and applicable event fees.
• Wild or unruly parties are strictly prohibited.
• Dogs are welcome with a $98 pet fee per pet.
• The property is located in a rural forested area where wildlife such as bears, coyotes, hawks, eagles, and neighboring dogs may occasionally pass through.
• The detached shop/construction area and attached garage are not accessible to guests.
• Firewood for the outdoor fire pit and quick-light logs for the indoor wood stove are available for purchase.

🔑 Check-In & Keys
• Please return keys to the lockbox at checkout. • Lost keys require a $100 replacement fee.

🔇 Quiet Hours
Our neighborhood is peaceful and quiet.
Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 9:00 AM, especially outdoors.

💧 Septic System
Our home uses a septic system.
Only flush toilet paper. Please do not flush wipes, feminine hygiene products, or other items.

💦 Hot Tub
Please help keep the hot tub clean and functioning properly.
• Rinse off before entering • No glass containers • Replace the lid after use
Improper use requiring draining or cleaning may result in additional costs.

🔥 Fireplaces
For safety:
• Do not leave fireplaces on overnight • Only burn approved firewood or Presto Logs in the wood stove • Do not use cedar wood from the outdoor fire pit indoors

🐕 Pets
Dogs are welcome.
• Please keep pets off furniture and upstairs • Do not leave pets unattended outside due to wildlife in the area

🚭 Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the home or outbuildings.
Please smoke outdoors and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

🚧 Construction Area
The shop near the driveway contains equipment and materials.
This area is off-limits to guests.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Gatherings
Celebrations are welcome, but wild or unruly parties are not permitted.
Please be respectful of neighbors and the peaceful surroundings.
