Cosy two bedroom cottage in the centre of Pokolbin

Our cottage is an old style two bedroom weatherboard with a classic covered country style balcony on the Eastern and Northern side and with a recently renovated kitchen, bathroom and a cosy living/dining room to relax and watch TV or chill out after a busy day visiting the local attractions. The location is fantastic being minutes to Hunter Valley Gardens, Hope Estate, Roche and Bimbadgen and right next door to the gorgeous Italian Restaurant Pescara; very central and close if you are attending one of the many concerts in Pokolbin. It is about a five minute drive away from the Vintage Golf Resort & Spa and is surrounded by vineyards, restaurants, cafes and all of the attractions that have made the Hunter Valley Wine Region a favourite for visitors from around the globe.
We offer a very private, relaxing location, a comfortable fully self contained cottage but right in the heart of the action.
The cottage is the only rental accommodation on our property and shares the area up close to McDonalds Road with our fine art gallery, Watershed Gallery

Wonderful getaway

Amasing property and hosts! The communication was smooth, property super clean, comfortable, homey and perfectly located within a short distance to all the local attractions and wineries. All the necessities for a great short-term stay were provided as well as some complementary goodies which were a lovely surprise. Visiting the Watershed Art gallery is a must and right next door. Thank you, Lyn and Ron for your hospitality and for making our stay at your cottage a perfect 10/10! :)

Fabulous cottage and location

My sister and I came to play golf and for the wineries but absolutely loved this cottage. The location is brilliantly central to the best the Hunter Valley has to offer. Ron made the check in process and our stay very easy and we appreciate all the little extra touches. Thanks so much.

Our stay at this delightful cottage was nothing short of perfect. The cost, beautifully maintained home offered all the comforts we needed, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The true gem, however, was the stunning art museum tucked away at the back!The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. Incredible location & host

We had a great time at Ron’s property. The location is so convenient, it’s just a short Uber to get around! Ron was super accommodating and flexible with check in, which made a huge difference for us. The property is beautiful, we sat on the deck in the morning and watched the hot air balloons fly! We would definitely stay again.

Our stay at this cute and cozy cottage in the Hunter Valley was the perfect weekend escape. It had everything we needed to kick back and feel right at home, with a really laid-back atmosphere. Ron and Lyn were fantastic hosts, and they even stocked the fridge with some welcome treats—such a thoughtful touch! Whether you want to completely unwind or check out all that the Hunter Valley has to offer, this place is the perfect mix. It’s peaceful, charming, and ideally located.

Fabulous Private Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at The Cottage. It is so comfortable and has everything one could want. Comfortable bedrooms, big kitchen so well equipped and plenty of space in the living and dining areas. The location was perfect being in the centre of all the action in Pokolbin. The cottage was cute, clean and comfortable on beautiful grounds surrounded by birds and wildlife. The location was close to vineyards, restaurants, cafes etc. The host had kindly left a few warm welcome essentials including a bottle of wine which was such a nice gesture. Great getaway location

Just loved our accommodation, loved sitting on the veranda listening to the birds and even saw some kangaroos. Winery across the road we could walk to but otherwise most are a drive / taxi ride away.

Pokolbin cottage

Spotlessly clean well equipped cottage. Easy access to many vineyards. The only complaint is the lounges were very low and not comfortable for people like us in their latter years.
