A very nice place with the best staff. Felt welcome and cared for, the location is great. The room was excellent and the breakfast nicely done. I would certainly recommend this place and will plan to use it my next time in the area.

Close to the beach and restaurants. Very Good breakfast, they made us omelettes every day. Hosts were very welcoming and ensured we had a good stay, they even helped us with our luggage without being ask.

This family run villa was exactly what we were looking for. We were welcomed warmly at the airport by the transfer driver and then by Ivan, at the villa, with a drink and a tour of the properties facilities. Would definitely recommend.

Great spot by beach to explore Split and coast

This is a little gem located just outside Split in beach town of Podstrana. Staff all very friendly especially Ivana who checked me in so quickly and had helpful advise. Had Room 4 on the 3rd floor which was basic double bed room with small balcony. It was spotless clean with white walls and ceiling making it very bright. Modern bathroom, mini refrigerator and kettle. The view was of the mountains and a little of the sea. Very quiet. Free beach towels, lounge chairs and umbrellas. Beach (small stones) is only 2 minute walk on pathway past other hotel. There are 2 restaurants and a beach bar right on either side. Facing west for sunset. Across the road is a bakery (great pizza slices) and a mini grocery. Local bus (13kn) to Split right by hotel (every 30 minutes). Used as a base to go on day trips to Islands, Krka National Park and Omis. So nice to come back and relax by beach. Well run property where you feel at home!

This property is absolutely beautiful, rooms are clean and you can’t beat the view. Beds are comfortable .I got sick while I was there and the property owners went above and beyond to help me with the dr and translating what was wrong.

Lovely bright, clean modern apartments 30 seconds from the beach, with free sun beds and beach towels for Villa Pinocchio guests which was a nice touch. Our room was very spacious with brand new bathroom and a bright airy bedroom, which was cleaned daily with fresh towels everyday. The apartments are ideally situated between Split town and Omis and a regular bus stops almost outside the apartments. There is a bakery and supermarket 1 minute walk away and several restaurants and bars also within a 1 - 2 minute walk. The apartment owner (Zlatko) was so welcoming and helpful and also organised our airport transfers. I would highly recommend Villa Pinocchio for your trip, Podstrana is a beautiful quiet resort within easy reach of livelier Split town and Omis, ideally suited for couples and families and we thought it was the ideal base for week's stay.

Podstrana - great base for first visit to Croatia

Good value for money. Comfortable bed and not noisey of a night made for good nights sleep. Good location for us with beach 30 seconds away and good inexpensive bus service every 30 mins to Split (20 mins) and Omis (25 mins). Really enjoyed our week, including rafting at Omis, ferry over to Brac/Bol and enjoyed all Split has to offer. Friendly service and would recommend.

We stayed in the studio apartment with a spacey balcony. Good distance from the beach front. Good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff but difficult to locate just at the end. I would definitely stay there again,

Great hotel, close to the beach and restaurants

Having left a cold and miserable UK behind and arrived in Croatia, the temperature difference was very noticible. What a blessing it was that Villa Pinocchio was naturally cool and very pleasant when relaxing. The staff speak good English, though rarely seen. To be honest I only saw the main staff once on the day we arrived... even over 4 days of staying there Lol. They were very helpful and the breakfast available is continental and satisfying. They even offer use of their coffee machine for free. The rooms are spacious and ensuite and have a balcony. We were lucky to get a sea view one. The bed was very comfy and the shower easy to operate. The beach is about a 45 second walk from the villa. It's a pebble/stone white beach with beautiful clear blue waters. Sun loungers with a blue dot are for complimentary use of villa residents. A 30 second walk to the right is an amazing restaurant and the harbour is about a 5 min walk away along that route. Villa Pinocchio is very well placed and doesn't disappoint. Very good value for money. I hope to stay again!

Splendid location for beach

Trip to beach only 60yards and sun beads and towels provided free. Supermarket close. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating (we were able to book in early and leave late). Breakfast was good and filling. Eating places close.

Only Spent One Night

I only spent one night here in between a ferry from Dubrovnik to a flight in Split, but what time I did spend there was great. There was three of us that were supposed to share a room. Because they had an extra room available, they gave us the second one for free.

Really lovely hotel. Helpful staff. A little bit noisy with traffic padding by. Close to the beach. Free sun loungers and umbrellas courtesy of the neighbouring hotel. Pebble beaches.
