Rooms newly renovated, clean. The bathroom was dated but clean Friendly staff Breakfast a little slow moving with only one waffle maker available. Plenty parking and ample shade. Parking lot cluttered from inconsiderate guest trash stairwells could use a cleaning and update Open community areas dining, swimming and relaxation clean and pleasant.

Bed was comfortable. Tub drain would completely close so it was hard to give the kids a bath. Breakfast was tasty. We did find a sleeve from a former guest under the bed.

Approximate arrival and check in time was 17:45 was checked in to room#245 only to walk in to unclean and unmade bed. Called the front desk immediately with my concern, the duty who checked me in said I’ll get someone to clean and I had asked estimated time. He replied in an hour, so the hour went by got back to the same room only to the same filthy, unclean and unmade bed. Manager was supposed to called in this situation as to what I was told there is no available rooms. 20 minutes I called back and a guy showed up with a different key to another room.

We arrived at the hotel and there was no elevator so we had to use dark dirty, dank stairway to get to the second floor when we got to our room there were bugs everywhere dead, and alive. There was bodily fluids all over the floor in between the two beds. Someone had a urinated in the corner of the room and it was left to dry. The floors were filthy with dirt and food crumbs. There was mold in the hallway closet and in the bathroom we requested a refund because we were not going to stay there. Refund was not granted and I would not stay at this hotel for free.

This served a purpose of staying for a conference but next time I will pay for a better hotel. The breakfast didn’t have hardly anything with a sticky note nothing else was available. They called me on my second day when I booked two nights that I didn’t check out on time after 1 night and then blamed orbitz as the issue. I had to show them my confirmation for two nights and they had charged two nights. I wouldn’t stay here again. Maybe update the bathroom when you update the rest of the room.

I loved the beautiful surroundings of the pool area, and the garden gazebo out back. I was disappointed the hot tub was luke warm and that the jets did not work. I was disappointed that they did not serve breakfast Sunday Morning without notice the day before.

A light bulb in the vanity was burned out, the telephone appeared to not work and the tv remote was missing a back. The floor of the room needed to be swept or vacuumed as there was dirt on it. Also the carpet in the hallway was dirty. It was loud and I was a little worried about security.
