I have nothing negative to say at all. A couple things irked me, but they were really none of my business so I won't say. What I will say, whenever something wasn't right? They fixed it. They are very customer service oriented here. The hotel (I'm no expert) is 3-4 star. Very spacious rooms, clean, all you would want. The Restaurant is 5 star, but personally? For THIS place, can I invent SIX star? They'd make it easily. Not the first time we've stayed here; repeat customers who will be checking in again on April 2nd. Food is over the top sensational every single meal. Top five breakfast place, and possibly number one for dinner, and I've been to Costa Rica 12 times now, staying usually 3 weeks but once only 2 weeks. Been ALL over the country. Highly recommend. BIG shout out to our best buddy waiter of all time, any country, any city. Our Amigo Randall the Handle!!! Bless!!!

An overnight stop before the airport. Had what we needed except a fridge. Breakfast was okay. Beautiful gardens. Easy walk to the beach. Secure parking. We didn’t eat or drink there as it was overpriced.

We love this hotel and its Staff

We love this hotel. It is a short walk to the beach, offers great facilities and had a great restaurant, all at a very reasonable nightly rate. During our stay the hotel had live music several nights. No worries about what to do, the hotel can arrange excellent tours to meet every desire. We loved the staff. They were very friendly, always helpful, knowledgeable, and treated us like family. Villa del Sueno will be our go to stay for a mid winter break in the future.

It was very clean rooms, we were at the quiet pool and the free breakfast was nice but not a buffet style. The grounds were lush and kept, the walk to beach not more than 2 blocks. No view to ocean. But nice staff and very accommodating for a to go breakfast for our early flight departure!

We stayed for four nights and had a very enjoyable time. We swam every day in the pool, which was very clean and we enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and a beautifully prepared breakfast every day. The staff were all fluent in English and were very helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable and we had everything we needed. There was live music several nights when we were there it was very entertaining and professional. It is a very short walk to the most beautiful beach and sunsets. I would highly recommend this place and would love to come back.

Upon check-in we learned Monday & Tuesday there would B live music in the evening. There was band practice 4 a few hours Sunday. R room, 106 was no more than 30 ft from the stage. Carrying a conversation in R room was a no-go while “live music” played. Monday music ended @ 9:30 pm. Tuesday went until 8:45 pm. Multiple speakers R directed @ the window. Had we been provided information about the “live music performances”, we would have made a different decision to stay at Villa del del Sueno knowing how loud the property would be in the evenings for the room we booked. We anticipated a peaceful stay not a concert venue with the band shouting for the audience to be louder and louder outside our window. After our stay I contacted hotel management. See photo 4 their response. Check-in is NOT the time 2 B told about the music. At check-in we were NOT informed R room would literally shake. At check-in we were NOT informed that we would not be able to carry a conversation while music played. At check-in we were NOT informed that we would not be able to use the room to sleep while music played. This property has three rooms that are directly across from the sound stage: 106, 107, 108. Good luck finding outlets 2 charge electronics. The hotel has 2 beach chairs 4 daily use which can be checked out in the AM; if you know about them. We learned about the chairs from other guests. Not all rooms have fridges. I am with others who do not understand the high reviews. DO NOT STAY HERE

Just spent 3 nights there, was a nice property. Quiet area at the end of town, easy walk to the beach. There is music frequently which is good fun. We had several meals at the restaurant and the food was great! The staff especially were welcoming and very helpful. They make a great pina colada!!! It is a bit misleading because they state there are 2 pools, but the larger one is off limits to occupants of Villa Sueno, is apparently only for El Oasis folks which seems a bit misleading in the advertising. Playa Hermosa itself was perfect for us, lowkey, good restos and the beach itself was beautiful, we would happily stay at Villa del Sueno again.
